Agreed, it is easily the worst skin in the game (1/20) while firebird demonic HD is the best one (for turret 20/20). I feel a bit like the devs mocked us with that SE skin ;(

I know there are different opinions but everyone should agree that this skin is pretty messed.

I love both firebird and wasp demonic HD, I wanted to 3D print and paint them if the 3d models were available :D.

Also twins x mammoth steampunk are awesome, freeze SE looks really cheap, so much so that I hope It will never get to the containers.

SE stands for Special edition and it´s just as ´´special´´ as iPhone SE .

For anyone that's wondering, SE here stands for "Special Edition". I think

As for the rest, I am glad in 1 way that this skin doesn't depend on luck meaning, the introduction of any skin can only be found either in the skin container, in the new Ultra containers and either in some events or contests, so you can't be sure that you will definitely get this skin even if you work hard for it. This time it's different, you can actually grind unlike other casual players and get a chance to grab a cosmetic skin for free. 

Finally, for everyone whose been wondering, yes I like the skin, WHY? 

Because firstly it's sort of free for me cause I play MM quite a bit. Weeklies and dailies help too, along with the super missions in the weekends. (Stars)

Secondly, I am not forced to use this skin, I can always change between freeze HD (which I believe is one of the best HD skins) and freeze SE whenever I have a change of mind or if I believe SE does not fit my standards. But on the other hand, I just now have a brand-new extra cosmetic in my garage, which I can use any time I want.

I dont think so cause its the same skin they teased for freeze HD. When they saw the amount of people calling it ugly they pulled it off only for it to come as an SE skin. But for skin collectors who want to get all skins it might be a good deal. Had it been the demonic skins in this i would have grinded hard for this.

I would grind the 5000 stars I like freeze and I am pretty sure they are going to put these in ultra containers or put it in the shop for 31000 tks lol

Imo since players have been complaining that devs are only making skins buyer-exclusive, this chance to earn a skin is a positive move on the devs' part. The price of 990 tankoins is actually pretty affordable too, especially after the game practically gave away 2022 tankoins in the Christmas/New Year's special mission. Certainly, the skin may not be to everyone's taste, but if you can collect it now rather than obtain it by other means in the future, why not get it now?

But is hard to win the skin. 5000 stars ? January II Challenge ends in 16 hours; I got 4328 stars (with help from 10 days premium). No premium, how I can reach 5000 stars ? Need to play 5 hours daily ? Or more ?

Pay 1000 Tankoins, earn 2000-3000 stars, easy. Not 999999999 stars.

You don’t need to earn 5k stars in a single challenge to get the skin, just 5k stars in total during the time the event is running (16 days)

What I don't like is that we need buy youtuber's bundle to earn those rewards and freeze SE skin, but the bundle cost 1k tankoins, only available for buyers...

And for youtuber's battle, it's unfair, cuz some players could buy like illimited starts and make their youtuber chosen win

I know. What I said is that in last challenge (2 weeks), I got 4328 stars. So, is hard to reach 5000 stars in 16 days.

It looks like they added the skin right now for test servers in the Freeze skin selection menu. You can't play with it though as Freeze SE isn't unlocked.

If the skin looks like this then no, however if the skin has been 'covered' and will will see it's true form on 14th then it may be worth it. The hd skin for freeze is better than freeze SE  in it's current form (tbh it looks like silver plastic and nuclear energy sticker on it , I really hope it's just a cover).

Well, it looks final to me.

From what I heard, this was a prototype skin used by their programmers to code Freeze's animated Fan while the final design of the HD turret was not yet ready.

And they just recycled it.
