Overall a great event. Cheers to all!

I can't blame TO for some of the issues that were evident as this event was the first that was ever done. I think the main issue was the problem with early purchases of bundles being punished as it's smarter to buy it once you know who's winning. Also, the star disabling could've been followed up with an extension or some offer in the store that lets you unlock the next "tier" for x tankoins. Again, the devs did a fantastic job in this event, and I had tons of fun!

 

As for the freeze skin, I'm sure a lot of freeze users are happy, as freeze only had a low-res XT skin. While a blanket over the HD standard skin may have been a little boring, I think it offers a pretty unique appearance and definitely shows other tankers you're among the top tankers! I hope to see a similar event for Hornet/Viking SE with a similar blanket design.

i hope so too. but those skins are only in ultra containers or bundles. we can’t get skins without payingtanki should give opportunities to non-buyers to get some skins. i’m missing old green containers.

I checked the profile of the first guy who earned 15k stars in jumper's team, he played 143 hours with jumper paint, that an average of 10 hours of playing each day since the beggining of the event lol

It was a nice event. I think alot of people liked the youtuber battle event. (The only thing that i didnt like that you could buy stars in the shop and help teams win like this.)

I barely played on monday to tuesday but try harded friday to sunday (played 4 hours those days only on DM mode that last 15 minutes each times) and finished the event with 6k stars, if he played 10 hours daily, there is huge chance that he didnt buy stars, considering he played ctf and with crisis drone. (Maybe he bought only the challenge pass that gives 12 levels only).

Mrbabhka  played 6 hours daily and made 10k stars,that BbIcoKoBoJIbTHbIu could have normally made those 15k stars if he played on an average of 10 hours daily since the beggining of the event.

Mrbabhka played with three more guys and capped 7 flags under 3 min (atleast in all ctf I joined). Doing it 10h daily is exceptional so , very nice if he did this without buying stars.

Very nice? Well I feel like 10 hours a day for over 2 weeks is a little worrying, that is just too much playing of any game :P But there have been times in the past that I've done that myself with games, and yes I regret it now.

I didn't participate in this event as I am now on a break from the game for a while, but congrats to everyone who got some cool rewards :) I think the skin actually looks pretty cool with paints. Event seemed fairly good, despite the rules issues, but I guess it was hard to get such an event right first time. Although it probably did encourage some people to play a little tooo much it would seem - but there always was the high risk @At_Shin option lol.

But my way was pretty much the only "low-risk"- "high reward" option. During the last 3 days of this event it had become clear that Jumper would emerge the winner. His team did win by a good margin. It was not at all risky to purchase his bundle at the last moment and reap more benefits than players of other teams who lost.

Players who grinded from the start had a 1/6 chance of their team winning. Players who multed successfully like me took very less risk but still got better rewards than those who grinded 5000k stars from a losing team (well, us mults didn't get the skin, but that's fine).

Well there was a chance that an absolute ton of mults could suddenly appear on the Jumper team, bringing him down to position #2 and meaning that people who spent ~1k tankoins on the bundle ended up with only 15 Ultras - that would hurt a lot for free-2-plays (who are not also helpers :P ). If buyers really wanted to do it, they could afford to do this if enough of them grouped together and discussed "strategy" - we had those discord servers for each team, right ;) ? Of course if could be countered by counter-mults from Team Jumper, but you would never know where such a buyer-mult war would end 

Anyone who waited until near the end of the first day to see which team was ahead (which was Jumper I believe), bought into that team, was guaranteed the 15 Ultras and 49 Containers + Freeze Skin at the end, if they worked hard enough for it - plus they had a chance to get the winner reward. However, if your mult strategy paid off you did get a really big reward with very low effort :P If I had been playing, I would probably have done the same  - but it would have been quite a risk for me as I would have been pretty worried about a huge mult-surge at the end, and then I would have lost all my tankoins for very little. It would have been possible, but it seems it didn't happen thankfully.

*Then again, the developers stopping people buying stars did make such a thing much harder to pull off. Because the mults would then have had to actually complete some combo of daily/ weekly/ special missions on each account to get the 300 stars, as well as buying the bundle. And there would have needed to be a looooot of players agreeing to do the same thing, with no guarantee that it would work at all - which might be unlikely of course.

There was a chance, but the Jumper team would have needed over 275 extra players earning the minimum 300 stars to bring them down to #2

But yes, that is a lot if so. Haven't bothered to do the maths on it, but trust you are right. 50 or so buyers from the 2nd team could have achieved that then in about 5-6 hours maximum, if they were willing to buy the bundle on 6 accounts each and grind. (Let's say you did 3 dailies + 1 weekly + 1 special mission, max 1 hour for the 300 stars - maybe a lot less). Or 30 buyers even could have done it, if they were willing to spend/play more. But yes, it is unlikely that people would co-ordinate and pay that much for a reward that wasn't even certain, and waste a significant amount of money on different alt accounts :P

This was honestly a really good initiative by TO, promoting its Youtubers and giving everyone rewards, but I have to say I'm quite appalled by its implementation.

People could buy stars to raise the team average artificially (although not by a lot), and do the opposite to opposing teams. Also, it's really sad that people could just buy the winner's bundle at the last moment to guarantee themselves rewards greater than for those in other teams who actually contributed to the team score. (Atleast if you got less than 5000 stars - 49 containers + 15 ultra containers VS 50 containers + 30 ultra containers for winner pickers). A simple fix was to make the paint bundle available for just 1-2 days, but sadly this wasn't implemented.

Hopefully future events like this one will take these points in consideration.
