Does Mammoth's overdrive defeat Ares' energy ball?

Mammoth's Overdrive:

Depends on how much health the Mammoth has, and the direction it's travelling relative to the Ares ball. If the Ares ball can get enough ticks of damage on the Mammoth to kill it before hitting its AT-field, Ares ball wins. Otherwise, Mammoth wins. I imagine the Mammoth would have to be on between 1000-2000 hp to die to the ball before destroying it.
