I have two accounts. Won the 8000 TK on one of them and got a scorpion XT on that account. On the other (main) account I did not get anything in the containers except for a lot of 1000 crystals in regular containers (21 out of 30) and supplies in ultra containers (20 out of 30).

There's not much worth buying with that other than Battle Passes and entries to future events. The bundles in the shop are geared more towards big spenders.

Old Viking XT you have, thats because its on of the most common skin, i myself have since 2018. In  the screenshot i've got HD viking XT, The new one.

And i got burst of light again on second account xD, 2 years waiting for it, and when i finally got it, they give it again on the other acc which won giveaway, when i dont need it lol

I'm not addicted to this game at all and never will and for sure I won't create dozens or hundreds of accounts and buy those offers on them. It would be 1000 time better if there was a limit to the purchase of these offers. Only those who would have higher rank than Warrant Officer 5 can participate in that. This won't happen ofc, too much money to lose from developers Point Of View

fewer participants = fewer winners. It doesn't matter how many bundles a single participant purchases.

Everyone's chances are the same. It's crazy how salty some of you guys are that some people won more than once and you didnt win. even if those guys didn't participate, your chances of winning didn't change in any material way.

Why are there complaints? If your overall chance of being picked in giveaway very slightly changes or even not at all, why are you complaining if they're actually brining money to the devs? I don't know if they made all of their accounts to collect the token of apology last year to sponsor their entry this time around, but if they made a truck load of accounts purchased 1,000 Tankoins on all of them, they're contributing so much more to the game than someone who purchased a 990 bundle alone.

The number of bundles purchased wasn't shared this time, directly or indirectly. Last funds you could see the number of lines in the notepad document with all participants, and since one line = 1 participant/bundle, it was easy. This time, the number of lines in the notepad wasn't displayed, either they did it on purpose, or just had different settings randomly. Since we don't know the total number of bundles, we can't calculate the average chance of win per bundle bought, and neither we can calculate approximately how many of each bundle was purchased. Sad

From my personal guess/estimation, the average chance to win was about 17%, however, it might easily by inaccurate with error anywhere up to +-5% IMO.

Why it is fair to participate with 2 accounts, but not more than 2? Where do you draw the line on what is "fair"?

Using tokens claimed on many alt account to purchase bundles isn't an issue of the tanki fund, it's issue with the tokens. They gave too many free tankoins to everyone and IMO caused quite a huge problem with long lasting consequences. Those days of tankoin pass should have been given only to people who had the tankoin pass active and actually lost out on some of it, however, I assume they thought it'll be better solution to give the potentially lost tankoins to everyone, compensating both players who lost something, but also giving some free gift to others, inciting them to return and play the game again.

Regardless, the fund is completed mostly thanks to all players who claimed the token on their alt accounts and keep buying the tanki fund bundles, so you can get extra free skins and some augments. You'd not lose out on much, but it's still free extra stuff.

If a person buys 8 bundles, he has 8 times higher chance to win. Just imagine that as 8 players.

If one person won 5 times, this person had to buy at least 5 bundles, contributing at least as much as 5 players would do. But do you realize how little is the chance to win 5 times with 5 bundles purchased? If he won 5 times, he has most likely bought at least 20, but more likely 30 or 40 bundles. Suddenly winning 5 times isn't that impressive.

I think that you either don't know this or forgot but these players are not buying tankoins to participate in the fund. Remember some time back , tanki gave a huge token of apology with tons of tankoins , 3000 stars etc due to which many players basically got free viking xt  from battle pass that time. At that time these players created these accounts and use that tankoins to participate in the fund so that the fund reaches the final level (which benefits all of us since we get maximum value for the 1k tankoin bundle we get and also the chances of winning the tankoins also remains 1/8). These accounts recharge their tankoins either by winning in the fund (1/8th chance for 1 account) or through free events like survey or when tanki releases token of apology containing tankoins  (btw the test servers have a token of apology containing tankoins so we may be getting it soon on main servers - reason of apology obv being the abysmal state of the servers).

I'm truly proud of myself I didn't participate on that giveaway and I'll never do that in the future. As somebody else said once, it's better to try luck in Euro Jackpot instead of doing that in some TankiFund Giveaways. At least in EJ we have chances to get REAL MONEY instead of some currency which is useful only in some dying game. Participating in this Tanki OFFLINE Giveaway IMO is a waste of time, you can have different opinion. Also, I'll soon leave this game forever, so if hate me, you are free to prepare a party on this occasion. When exactly? When the Contracts will be added or when I lose patience. You can count down

It says a lot about the game mechanics and the underlying logic, but this kind of behaviour actually is the only rational thing to do. If you just play the game like a normal player, you'll hit big problems the minute you reach Major, i.e., the first rank at which M7 items can be bought in the shop.
