Increase of ping

Hello, 

For over a week, I have experienced an increase of latency (ping) from 50-60 ping to 128-150 ping. It is very frustrating to play the game with such a high latency.

Are you guys planning to fix it?

I have asked about this issue to Tanki Support, and this is the answer they have given. Hope this helps. This also may be due to the current server connection issues too.

* We recommend using a wire Internet connection. If you play via Wi-Fi, try to stay as close to the router as possible.
* Restart your router before playing the game. Turn it off for 3-5 minutes, then turn it on again.
* Disable all running applications. Turn off software and system updates.
* If these measures do not help, try using the services of an Internet service provider or the VPN, choosing one of the nearby countries to you.

On the test server my ping is 50-60.

My ping is also constantly 51, usually it's way lower. I don't think it's us. It's the servers, and for us there is not much to do about it. I'm sure our devs are working on it, but well

They send this out all the time to players , to me I stopped sending it in .

just post it in complaint section I find it gets way better response to our complaints ( most of the time ).

It's becoming increasingly frustrating as my ping remains consistently at 101ms, whereas it used to be around 70-80ms before.

The same thing happens to me. They did something with the servers, maybe. Usually, in my region, tanki gives 70–80 ping, and now it's 101 and more.

 

After Tanki's birthday, some battles used to give good ping and some bad ping. Since the past week, all the battles have had bad ping, and everyone is experiencing the same. What's with this 101 ping for everyone? Usually, a 100 ping doesn't show us shots through walls and stuff. This feels like 200+ ping, but it shows 101 for everyone, even in different regions. 

 

Also, why don't developers or Tanki mods respond to such problems? Maybe let us know what's happening at least.

I myself have only noticed very little ping change. However, I just moved, so my ping is bound to be different as I have a new network service provider and everything. I have, however, had numerous clan members and friends complaining about increased ping and asking around to see if other people have. Somewhere around 8 people in total who have been experiencing increased ping.

Yep I noticed the ping was unusally high today for me, its not my internet problem, maybe its because I am travelling and playing from a different country rather than the country  I created my account in.

FIX the damn ping issue. The level of inadequacy exhibited by the Tanki Mods in resolving this problem is unparalleled.
