Ability to easily destroy goldboxes in battle via turret, hull overdrive, etc.

This may sound like an interesting concept no doubt about it, but it may have some cons:

1.)  Destroying Goldbox removes the fundamental motive for which it has been created and used for (Thats like using a Boosted armor supply but it shows malfunction and now you have used your supply but no extra armor effect, useless right ? )

2.) When a Goldbox is dropped, irrespective of whether it is an Event mode or a private battle, it is follwed by a severe fight by players in attempt to catch it. and thus 90% of the times, the Goldbox will get destroyed even before it is caught by someone.

3.) Reduces concept of special Gold catered events like "Gold Rush Mode" to minimal, frustrating players even more.

If this gets implemented (ironically), we know who's to blame

What if instead we made supply boxes (not gold boxes) destructible? Let's say I'm using shaft or magnum and a repair kit is being dropped in the opponent's base. Then, I could potentially shoot at the repair kit (or hit with my splash) in order to deny them from using it.
