High ping - 153 constant ping (UAE / Turkey)

Hi. I am playing from United Arab Emirates, previously my ping used to be 60 on a constant basis. Last quarter of last year, the ping went higher to 102, and never went back to 60 again. Now, ever since January, my ping is constant 153. No matter what I use, even the best Wi-Fi isn't able to get the ping to 60 anymore. I request you to consider this request as there are many more like me facing similar issues. We are being discriminated in the game because of our location and this very unfair. Even people from turkey facing the similar issues. please see to it. No player should have added advantage in game because of their server location. Make the game fair to all.

Same here - playing from UAE, high ping. Used to be lower before, but then it got increased one day and stayed high. Still playable though.

I think devs changed the server architecture recently, which causes signals from certain locations to take longer to reach the servers, increasing the ping. It's not discrimination - just an unintended consequence of necessary changes.

In one of the V-LOGs the devs said that the new DDOS protection caused the ping to go up for everyone, so it it's not just you. I guess we'll have to wait till they find a better alternative.

@Maf  Thanks for the info. I have delays with every shot. Being xpbp player, timing is crucial. Currently suffering because of the ping. Devs really need to do something about this, maybe its paid less attention to because of lesser number of players from UAE as compared to other regions.

It's not just UAE, countries which have a considerable distance from the servers and its routes have a much higher ping in general than others, including me. My base ping is 150+ now as well, so the problem isn't the amount of tankers in a country.

@Chase, @Maf Haha, here in mauritius, the game is nearly unplayable since quite recently, with the base ping being around 200-250

I was in Mauritius last year. Didn't play tanki there, but it's totally believable that ping is terrible there

One of the previous forum admins is from Mauritius, so there's that little bit of random info.

I'm lucky enough to be able to still play on 50 ping but let me tell you this, in XP/BP, I suffer at least as much as you do. It feels like my ping doesn't matter and that the game just adopts whichever ping the opponent is having. My damage is never registering when it should and people hit me like miles away from where my tank actually is; generally, it feels like everything is delayed by a couple seconds. So yeah, we are all suffering. Ping feels like a lie lol.

Up to the change they apparently made, I had an average ping of 100 every now and then, with spikes every couple seconds to numbers our human brains can't even comprehend.

Edit: nevermind, it goes like 50 100 50 100 the whole time

Recently, my ping has increased to about 150, and the game has a significant delay. My previous ping was about 100, can the developers optimize it to make the game more smooth

I already made a comment on complaint book. Please us Dubai based players are having issues of high ping. Please consider this request to resolve our ping issues. Ping is always 153 or higher.. somedays when lucky, we get to play at 100. Try to bring back ping to 60 or atleast below 100. Please!

Yeah, the ping has been high recently...
I'm from SE Asia, the ping is usually 150+ when connecting to Germany via VPN
Sometimes when the servers are "better" I suppose, or maybe there is less traffic, the ping drops to 100 (around 103-106)...

I remember getting 100 ping without VPN, and around 80-90 with it- when am I getting my lower ping back so that I am not disadvantaged during pvp confrotations?
