Why can't i use a mouse to control my turret on mobile?

 Share

Question

I tried xp/bp on the mobile version and i bought a fast mobile data package. My ping went from 150-200 on pc to a somewhat constant 100 on mobile. However, as the controls on mobile are trash (i can prove it), I connected my keyboard to my mobile and was able to play well. However, I use mouse for xp/bp and in the ''controls'' setting, there are 3 options, namely ''touchscreen'', ''keyboard'' and ''mouse and keyboard''. I chose the third option and connected my mouse and my keyboard to my mobile with the help of a ''usb adaptor''. The keyboard part was ok but not the mouse one. My cursor would only hover over the screen but wouldn't disappear and let me control my turret. My question is why is there such an option, when it clearly doesn't work?

That option (mouse+keyboard) was tested as working fine previously, but there is a circus of different phones and adaptors on Android when anyone in the chain can work incorrectly. I would ask for the specific names of the phone, the mouse, and the adaptor, but there is no chance we will be able to test the exact combo on our end.

I'd recommend a wireless keyboard/mouse via Bluetooth in this case.

Not sure why you would want mouse controls on mobile. Sounds like it'd be very difficult to play like that.

I am trying to use keyboard AND mouse on mobile because the mobile controls are buggy. Moreover, i play xp/bp with mouse.

LOL. The question is why don't you use a laptop? I doubt you play with mobile/keyboard/mouse on the bus...

Doesn't it mean that you have a weak internet line at home, while using mobile data from outside you get internet 5G or similar?

Well, not only at my home. I tried to play at my gran's home but th ping was still in this range (200+). It used to be 100-150 before but since some time (probably since the ddos protections). the base ping in my country increased (am saying this cuz i tried playing tanki in many houses). Hence why i use mobile data (the isp can provide upto 5G) but the ping is somewhat constantly 200 instead 200-400. It was around 100 for only some days and it got worse later on (to 200-400)...

Do a Ookla speed test with your laptop at home or gran's home. Do you get something closer to 50 Mbps or to 5 Mbps? Is your laptop older than 10 years?
