Patch Update #824 - Released 13th March 2026

 

List of changes:

  • Repair Kit supply

    • Reload cooldown decreased from 30 s. to 15 s.;

  • Mechanic drone

    • Reduction of Repair Kit cooldown changed frm  10-20 s. to 1-5 s.;

  • Hyperion drone

    • Removed the reduction of Repair Kit cooldown;

  • Isida

    • Sustainable Nanobots

      • Cone angle decrease changed from -60% to -50%

      • Energy consumption when healing decrease changed from -50% to -60%;

  • Tesla

    • Reload decreased from 0.8 s. to 1 s.;

  • Vulcan

    • Critical damage decreased from 150-200 to 90-120 HP;

List of Fixes:

  • Medic Grenade

    • Points are no longer awarded for repairing tanks that have full health;

    • Fixed the offset of the healing special effect's center position, which was half a hull away from the grenade's position;

    • Fixed an error where the healing sound effect could persist after healing ended;

  • Fixed the Critical Resistance icon displayed above enemy tanks;

  • Hopper hull control has been reverted to be relative to the hull, not the camera.

    • (Note) Already in the game.

  • The 26,000 Tankoins bundle is back on sale in the iOS version.

@Opex-Rahcan you add those peek augment feature we used to had in flash version , like when we press V , it shows augments and gs of nearby players, similarly can you add juggernaut indication , like JGR logo next to person on statistic tab

hyperion is a much needed change as they all have KD above 3 in battle, and skilled players only die 1-3 times in battle and have KD over 10 some dont die at all. 

brutus players can now compete more on skill.

as a brutus main i am very happy. if they use defender, i will use emp or amour break hahaha. i use defender as well, but i start with brutus so my skill will outshine them. 

 

cant wait for the effect to take place tomorrow. well done tanki

I can see you dont use hyperion

A lot of people used hyperion because of 15s Repair Kit. Now people will just use booster or defener which were had good posibility to be more OP than Hyperion lol

Hyperion will still be the same, only Brutus/ defender and other drones gets a buff to be on the same level as Hyperion.  so now I and many others can finally beat a Hyperion user in score at the risk of emp/amour break but that's fine with me. Hyperion users would just hide and reactive the heal and their supplies and have an unfair advantage. 

 

What's the point is in the battle mode if they can just ignore the objective and farm kills and score and doesn't matter if they loose 10-0 in jugg or 5-0 in siege they will still get the highest score and most crystals. its so dumb. I am glad for this change . thank you for this change. @Opex-Rah Other players have to work to get the flag or cap the ball or group up to get the siege point while they just sat back and farm kills and heal up.  

 

Enemy Player: OutX - 50/5 - 805 score 

Combo: Hyperion crusader/smoky excelsior KD of 10 lol. 

- they lost 6-0 but they still has the highest score from both teams

- look at me I won 5-0 with defender but got less score, less crystals and worse KD. they didn't care about wining or loosing and just sat and farmed us and got the most score

uHH that's why theres pulsar emp and amour break... now people will use them more. just like me. its epic rarity everyone owns at least one status effect.

@INEVITABLE i think tanki needs to modify score system and not change the crystals system (as you suggested). there have been many times where my team would be worse than actual bots. I would be trying my best, only to be let down by team. in that case, i wouldnt want a crystal penalty as well. it will only further encourage the team leaving problem which is already very bad. if some team scores at start, good players of other team leave instead of chance at fighting back. and then match becomes even more unbalanced.

 

what i propose is this: dynamic score for objectives rather than fixed. e.g. if battle is very fierce, capping a flag can be much harder than in unbalanced one. so tanki should measure how quick it was to score objective (if little time to score objective -> means teams unbalanced -> less score for OP team, but if other team score in that battle, they get more score), or it could measure how many tanks were destroyed in the interval between objective was scored. if high tanks were destroyed, it implies fierce battle. and the players focusing on objective missed on score from kills. getting more points for objective would compensate for that.

 

if dynamic score not possible for objectives, atleast increase score across the board for objectives especially for delivering flag in asl (or whatever is name of tht mode which isnt ctf and has flags and a point)

your right i will edit it out i don't want a crystal penalty  when my team is really bad. i didn't think of that.

They are nerfing Isida, a support turret, to the ground, but they will promote nanotech shells for thunder or shaft healing emitters

The devs do what is always best for the player base-jeez give them a break already. They try really, really hard and all they get is complaint after complaint.

Poor @Opex-Rah  must be fed up of never being appreciated.

I appreciate everything they do, just like @Biome who is always complementary of whatever the devs do.

Big 👍 for all the effort the devs put into making this one of the finest games online.

Thankyou @Opex-Rah for doing your best to try and keep this game viable for those that understand just how much you and the dev team do for us players.

I hope I don't get a ban for not praising the devs enough.

Maybe I should edit my previous post to include more 👍. After all, this update was exceedingly well thought out and presented.

I am really trying to be a good, nice player, and to respond positively to everything that is posted.

This is definitely the way forward.

I think having my nutritional oats every morning has helped me see the light. I also think that apart from the devs, the mods do an excellent job to.

Again-great update.

well they clearly suck at it. and instead of listening to the playerbase (easiest way to 'give the best' for us) they just ignore everything. what about the survey they did years ago? why nothing even remotely close mentioned in the survey happened? where are more surveys to potentially test community reaction about an upcoming feature? like 
"Would you be satisfied about a throwable explosive?" (hinting at grenades, in the world where devs only have a primitive sketch on a whiteboard in their office) and the answers would be from very satisfied to very dissatisfied. and if the answers are clearly negative just dont waste time developing grenades and instantly scrapping the concept etc. etc.

there is a difference between positive feedback on update you like and BiomeGPT spamming the same 1 out of 3 sentences  under every forum topic related to developers imaginable. Same applies to negative feedback of course. 
(off topic but i find it really funny how that guy praises the devs constantly while the i remember getting him in MM and he was exploiting the isida/dictator/mechanic thing or whatever that was confirmed to be a 'legal' grey line in the game at the time. which even led to a kick from battle by mod)

i play TDM every battle to the point where i get caught off guard when i see a flag capped or something, i could not care less about the team performance since i already 100% the game years ago and play only for fun. and even i notice that on average 50% of people in MM are either doing sub 5 IQ plays or AFK-ing lol

It's working exactly as intended. 

The 30 seconds mentioned in the patch consists of 2 things:

 

7.5 seconds duration

22.5 seconds actual cooldown

 

Crisis, Mechanic and Hyperion reductions go towards the actual cooldown. Mechanic reduced it 22.5 - 20. Hyperion reduced it 22.5 - 15. Crisis reduced it 22.5 - 5. 

 

The new update reduces the actual cooldown from 22.5 seconds to 7.5 seconds. 7.5 duration + 7.5 cooldown gives the 15 seconds shown in the patch. Mechanic had its numbers changed to put it back exactly where it was before (7.5 - 5 = 2.5). Hyperion had the bonus completely removed because the base version of the supply is what it used to get and that is now applied to every drone. 

 

Old:

22.5 + 7.5

Mechanic: 2.5 + 7.5

Hyperion: 7.5 + 7 5

 

New:

7.5 + 7.5

Mechanic: 2.5 + 7.5

Hyperion: 7.5 + 7.5

 

Which results in a relative nerf for Mechanic and Hyperion, with a buff to Crisis as it retains the -5 seconds reduction in cooldown and has repair kits as often as a Mechanic. What does this imply? It likely means the drone rework is coming soon and these are some preparations.

I see. I thought the same but the wording of the patch throw me off. By the way it is 8 seconds for the duration and 22 seconds for the cooldown according to the wiki.

This bit of information is well received, as I use mammoth sometimes.

I will now use it more often to try and boost it's ratings within the game.

I think everyone else should try and help out to. It would be wonderful if the community came together to help out mammoth with it's usage ratings.

The forum is such a great place to get help and information, let's all do our bit and rescue mammoth from obscurity.

 

I actually use mammoth the most.
