Whoa, I stand corrected then! That's Huge!

 

Of course that's 40,000 over the course of a year, I have only been here for like 3 weeks, so extrapolating forward... 4700 kills in 18 days = 261 / day on average, or 95,265 per year, hehe :P

Taking a play centric approach to game design, the game should stop getting massive bug reports at this stage, as it did. Do not complain, it's a part of the process that's vital to the game development. Nearly all the performance bugs have been issued by now, and only new and real bugs should be reported via PMs. But with all this, the game community management is expected to clearly explain what this change of bug reporting policy is all about. These are just some misunderstandings happened, and i want the members of the best massively multi-player online flash game ever to support and stick with the project.

 

Surely these things never happen in the Russian side, only because every change is described as expected there.

 

I couldn't agree more! Well said. Let me add I also feel Raaish's frustration with problems seemingly going on without being addressed. Forums are usually the main tool a community has to be kept informed of bugs, discuss them, come up with suggestions etc. It is also a way for developers and game management to keep players informed of status of various bugs, updates etc. That doesnt happen very often here it seems. People obviously have problems with this game, as much as we like it, it is unreliable. Players take time to post their experiences and look for help and understanding. They want to know they are not the only ones, and want to know something is being done about it.

With 200000+ registrations and about a 1000 bug reports a day it became very hard to pick real bugs out of a pile of reports that say 'i've flipped my tank' date=' what do I do' and 'please give me more money'.[/quote']

 

Umm, not true at all.

 

If by "you" you mean the community at large, your wrong. Statements like this really irritate people I think.

Let me explain:

1) A sticky thread at the top that read: "Subject: Re:Attention! If you have any problems - write here" was posted by Mikhail Gofman

2) people start posting bugs

3) a post made to "PM support" rather than posting bugs in a thread that was created so we could post bugs and problems. :roll:

4) The thread was then locked :!:

5) I made this thread with the intention of discussing some of the bugs and problems that are happening.

6) Someone edits and renames the original thread that was created ""Subject: Re:Attention! If you have any problems - write here"" becomes renamed to " Attention! If you have any problems - PM Support (contact inside) "

7) You come on here and tell us that we were "clearly told to PM Support and NOT to post in the topic!

We WERE told to post with bugs (Subject: Re:Attention! If you have any problems - write here), then changed to PM support, then locked the thread, then try to pretend like that thread was never there by renaming it!

 

Hiding mistakes and then pretending you said something else is a great way to alienate and make enemies out of your own community.

 

Many will prob just shrug their shoulders and leave for good assuming that no one know how to moderate here or that the game management people here are just lazy or liars.

That would be a real shame since the game has a lot of potential. Communication is essential in keeping those hundreds of thousands of players informed and I just can't believe a decision would be made to "just PM us" thousands of identical problem reports rather than having the thousands of members read and post their experiences and have developers read and post to everyone solutions / updates. What backwards thinking. (Unless of course its because its easier to hide all the problems by ignoring them and tell people not to talk about them)

 

I personally think many problems are due to lag and dropped packets due to bad connections and overloaded servers (just a guess) but who knows? It's never addressed by anyone!

 

I just love how time was taken to post here in this thread to attempt to mislead and hide the original sticky thread by renaming it, however, no time was taken to respond to the fact that the "bug reporting tool" now has been changed without any notice or even a response to what I thought was a bug. Obviously someone changed it so only a few testers can use it now, but we have been told to use it repeatedly until now. No one came on here and told us of this VERY BIG change.

We use bug reporting tool, and wait and hope, then suddenly it stops working - we get told we can't use bug reporting tool when we try.

We try posting about it and are told we should be PMing support
