Which is Better? Thunder or Rico?

Do keep that in mind that you are saving crystals with thunder, i'm thinking about m2, but i just want to know which is better, DO STATE A REASON

But ricochet is better is more damage and better in close and mid range combats, and can shoot around corners, and it has a bigger angle so you can shoot downwards even using a low chassis like Viking.

Rico can do self-damage also. And Rico is better for winning CTF.

Rico is a good weapon, but Thunder is the best weapon in the game. Rico's bullets are too slow, they can be evaded to easy.

Expensive is not always better. Thunder still has the advantage over Ricochet in countless situations. Not to mention Splash damage is one of the only things capable of taking care of campers and hiding players. Ricochets are not even a problem when they're not close. The shots hardly do any damage at ranged and with experience one can take a Ricochet out by using Corners and the Surroundings. While the Ricochet cannot do the same so easily. We have an absolute AoE attack, while Ricochet players have to think about the angles.

Yes but in tanki you really don't get situations where a ricochet is far off and he's trying to shoot you and c'mon, most maps in tanki ricochet powns thunders and rarely do maps feature a smooth landscape without walls for thunders do massacre. And even in maps like those, rail and shaft tend to kill all. And what is the point in thunder in FFA where you nearly die after each kill you make?

Trust me, If you keep your eyes open and choose your battles wisely. You will be successful against each Ricochet you see. No one asked Thunders to play in Silence or Island. No one asked them to play in Hill. Maps don't feature a smooth landscape but nearly every single map has at least one spot where a Thunder can be in peace. Again, This does not apply to mid-range maps like Silence nor does this apply to Island.

More expensive does not mean better. Its just expensive to keep the balance between the rank progressions and the price. Again, it is harder to produce but this is a game. Ricochet is expensive. It has a higher DPS. But the Higher DPS only applies if you don't miss a single shot. Don't forget that the Shots take a while to reach the target and they are really, really easy to dodge. An M3 Viking can easily dodge the shots at relatively close distance.

Aiming with Thunder isn't really that hard. That's where experience comes in. I have a question, How long have you used thunder for? =)

Well trust me, Thunder is better. I have all weapons m3, and my main weapon is thunder. I like to play with rico too, but only when the situation requires it.

Thanks I know I don't post a lot I read most of the time and I have m3 everything below thunder and all hulls m3 below viking and everything else m2 including mammoth and I'm a wo5.

And normally I play in fort Knox 3 since it's good for richochet and freeze and shft which I have m1 cuz of my rank... So yeah I have pretty good weps for my rank and I love Electra and irbis and swash with holhoma which I use for clan battles.

Well. Once you get to use M3 Thunder. You'll never, ever turn back. ;) Also, I prefer editing my post rather than double/triple posting.

Depends on the map,

Each weapon has it's own advantage.

 

Thunder - Mid/Large map

Rico - Close/Mid/large map(not recommended)

Freeze - Close range
