Adults, how do you do it?

Hi everybody,

 

one fact about tanki that surprises me is that adults play it too. In this topic, I want to ask adults who play tanki how they do it, how they became interested, etc. The reason I'm making this topic is because I noticed that the people who play are in the ballpark of the same age as my own parents, yet my parents are no fun at all, and would never, ever EVER play a game.

Im 40 and I play tanki everyday. Some days I feel like quiting because of immaturity level of the game.I use tanki as a release after i get off work take out all my anger on other tanks Tanki is a fun game and when played with friends it can be a blast and when you add in a little skill it can be epic. Parents are no different than some kids some play games and some dont. I guess it just depends on how much free time you have.

Do you have kids? Do they play tanki? Do you let them play video games? My parents don't let me play video games, and they give me the evil eye when I ask to play tanki sometimes.

Well some people have a lot of free time and wanna get the stress out. But people who are like directors of Oskosh Russia (like my Dad) don't have time to play. And maybe don't like Tanki Online.

Well, I'm 25 and love play Tanki. My wife doesn't mind as long as I don't spend all my time on it. I have a job, taking away more time.

I wonder more about kids (11-12 and less) playing tanki, especially if they buy crystals.

Ok, well.. I am an adult but just 24 years old, I always had internet-games passion and it's not a fact of ''funny peaple'' or not. Tanki is like a little hobby.

A good thing about working in a bank on a computer means I can be on the forum at work. There's a guy called Mike who is a suck-up and always trying to get me in trouble. He makes sure no-one is on things they shouldn't be.

 

Eg- Kind of a slow day. No clients are coming in. So I open this forum. Mike walks around.

 

Mike- What Are you on? (Looks at my screen, I quickly close tab)

 

Me- Checking someone's investment status, why?

 

Mike- Grrrr (Walks off)

 

Me- Re-opens forum.

 

I'm on the forum at work and play more at home.

I got hooked while watching my son pay. He's actually quite good, so I've learned a lot of technique just by watching him. He likes to use an m2 thunder with an m3 dictator. I prefer the m3 rail gun/m3 dictator.

 

I've found this game to be highly addictive, because the satisfaction factor is quick (it feels great to nail tanks far away), as well as score flags. It feels like a video football game scoring for a touchdown: sometimes you score, sometimes you get whupped and fumble the ball/flag.
