Leasing advertising space

I have a suggestion:

 

The admin at Tanki should seriously consider leasing advertising space to international companies. These advertisements could appear on the buildings and billboards that are located on the battlefields.

 

Given the fact that about 1 million people play this game regularly, I think companies such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Apple, Nike, McDonalds, and perhaps other international companies headquartered in various places around the world would be interested.

 

Good idea, right?

I do actually agree, and I'm pretty sure they did that quite a while back, but they seem to have stopped now... there was an announcement on the russian homepage asking for ads at one point, I'm sure.

I disagree with this idea. I think tanki should stay independant. I like seeing all the tanki related billboards. I think they're interesting, and it would be a waste if they were just ads.

I have seen games ruined by adverts before. :cry:

(Usually lag related)

 

Tanki has done an amasing job at this game. I do not see why they should need to give advert space.

 

But if you want to make it better then give them ideas that improve the game itself.

OR

Praise the creators about the game.

 

After all attention and praise is usually more motivating than money :-)

Haha, you really believe that? I doubt that that's true. These people need to make a living, and this is one way they can do it!

 

There are the spaces where there are tips about the game, the billboards... there is quite a bit of space which could easily be used on advertising: I think to make money and thus be able to hire more people and make tanki even better, they should do advertising.
