unable to use team chat on ubuntu 11.10

Hello,

there might not be many with this issue but well, i am... Maybe someone else has it, too, or knows a solution for me.

I use Ubuntu 11.10 as my operating system and when i use firefox or chrome i am not able to do team chat (control+enter) in game...

Else control works fine, for example to paste links into the lobby chat with control+v... but team chat... nope, what ever i try it comes out as general chat.

This is a bug, probably on all OSes (I'm using Windows 7 and Kubuntu 10.10 and I have this problem on both.). For team message press T - this should work.

You need to press T - this will make your message visible only for your team, not for opponents.

thank you for your reply but please explain how to "Press T" here... cause when i press t or T or crtl t it types the t... adding enter just submits the message to normal battle chat again.

Normally you press enter to open the chat... then you type... then you press down and hold the control key and press enter to submit the message... with control held down it should go only to your team, like explained here:

OK i finally found the solution for me:

 

to do team chat... press t to open the chat line not enter... then just type and press enter and it will be team chat...

So the trick is to start the chat with t and not with enter...
