As a UK national, I would not be taken in by this due to:

 

1) "The test version Tanks Online 2.0" - poor English.

2) "The test version Tanks Online 2.0" - It should be TANKI online (not TANKS)

3) "Specify the data of your account in << Tanki Online >>:" - Poor English grammar.

4) The general quality of the entry screen is obviously amateurish.

 

I suspect that only very young (or old) players fell for this.

I suspect that a young person produced this scam - it is extremely amateurish.

I KNOW that that the scammer was NOT English.

 

(I haven't shown the correct English terms for obvious reasons).

I was a Community Representative for another online browser game and head of the moderator team. We had a system where the Mods could watch a game and ban hackers/rule violators for a specific amount of time from a few minutes up to 30 days. While on the surface this may appear as a stop-gap method and temporary, it was very effective as we were able to stop the hackers and investigate what was going on as we not only had the support of the community in doing so, but actively had Mods in game who could do this. Community members were able to contact Mods and point out to them the areas where problems were present. Here in Tanki Online, it appears as though most of this occurs in Silence/Silence II. I would think that until Tanki Online comes up with a permanent solution that this could be very effective. I have seen a post where one Mod did kick them, but I don't know if Mods can do temporary bans. Is the issue that you don't have enough mods? Thanks for your efforts.

3. hacker teleports to base flag post and scores

Please, create new button in the game, to call administrators (or moderators). If several players call admin (or moderator), they may visit the game and check if there is hacker. Or give authority to reject hacker for verified moderators.

Please, give us the chance to war with hackers!

If you found all ways of hacking, hackers finds new way of hacking and break you!

Dear Tankmen, I do not know much English, nor Russian, but I understand, that here you deal cheaters. I have a simple and fun solution - Prepare a hunt for cheaters, anyone who sends conclusive screnshot, or video with cheater in action, will get about 10 crystals. I believe that the hunting will be so popular that administrators will not suffice block the accounts. If the same cheater sent more players would get a reward only the first one.

      Finally, we were not players against cheaters helpless and frustrated and playing Tankionline will be again for us entertain.
