Why this World Cup?

I want to ask our community manager what was the thinking behind organizing/proposing this World Cup. We already have a clan structure in place and instead of promoting that, you are coming with an entirely different cyber sports theme. You should have considered many practical/functional issues associated with this world cup. One of the major issues is that players will have to start from scratch in order to build their teams. We already have a few clans, which have been in existence for over 6 months. Also, some of the countries will have many members for e.g. USA. Will it be possible for all 50-100 players from the US to participate?? NO!

 

I won't say that this is a step backwards, but its surely not forward. It would have been great if there was a Clan Championship organized for the english clans like they will be organizing it in the Russian section (with rail being the main weapon and total tank armor not exceeding 740). Since, the clans are already in place, it would be less of a pain to organize it plus a decent prize will encourage more clans.

Well, its actually kind of fun because the members of clans can be united and fight for their respective countries, and, though some WONT be able to play, it is actually the same thing with many contests, such as the misquito battles, which you happent to be in. (And I am not :-/ ) Also, some members who normally WOULDENT participate in clan battles would have a chance. At any rate, we arent shure how exactly they will work out, and there might be groups for all we know. There is my two-cents worth xD

Sorry about posting another post, but, what do you hope to accomplish with this? It will obvoisly NOT be cancelled, because team topics have started it. And, since you seem not to like them, it is not an explanation topic, it, is, kindof, pointless. Also, it might be better to PM Bruce himself, as this seems to be a personall conversation with no one else besides him -_-
