Rule 2.1 & 2.2

What is the extent of the rule 2.1 and 2.2?

 

2.1. - insulting other users, sending provocative messages via chat, disturbing other chat users' communication, swearing;

 

2.2. - using profane language (anywhere, in any form) expressly or implicitly;

 

So for insult, usually a single moderator will take care of an incident. However, this will depend on the moderator's decision. So if there are two moderators; one is strict, but one is rather lenient on things. A user says "shut up and go away" to another user, let's say, in the chat. If the strict moderator is online, most likely the user will get ban. However, if a lenient moderator is online, do you think that he will ban that user? If I was a moderator and someone said to me "shut up please and piss off", I would not ban them because I am not offended by that. If a moderator was offended by that, why should they even become one?

 

Rule 2.2 - Kind of like above, different moderators will think differently when it comes to this rule. Sometimes I use "hell" and "damn" in the chat and forum, but nothing happens; while other times if I do, then I will get a ban. However, about the "abbreviations" part, I need some clarification. So if I type "WTF", then that is understandable because most people will know what it stands for. But what if I put something like "YAARBDA" (you are a really big dumb ), will I get banned for that? I don't think any of you reading this knows that that stands for, but how come I won't get banned for saying that?

I don't think the forum is an open place for you to discuss the Rules, or discuss the actions or decisions the Moderators take. If you'd like to discuss it with someone, speak with the Mods themselves, otherwise, keep it to yourself.

Hell and damn are not cusses or profanity. There is no proof of hell, therefore it is not real, it is a way for religions to scare people into believing. Damn isn't profanity because then would get banned.

Yeah he won't get banned because he's been playing for a long time but my acc's Damn_fast and Damn_ninja got banned. Other mods didn't ban those acc, only the strict mod "hint" PC-   * you know who*

As compromise, everyone can PM me if he/she is unhappy with a moderator (please call your message Moderation Feedback, I will check my personal messenger daily for them). Also, you can post your feedback on the special site, which is checked by me regularly.

100 flag match, you are on top, last flag. Your teammate is going to capture the flag, 2 gold drops (somehow) you are 1 inch away from getting them both, your teammate captures flag. Wouldn't you swear atleast once then?

It actually depends not on individual moderators, but on their admin who decides together with a community manager which phrases and words are forbidden and which aren't. As for cases when one mod bans you for something and another one doesn't, we are working on minimizing this problem.

 

The topic got off-topic, so I'll close it.
