Battle statistics for laptop

Could you make the tab button be a press to turn on and press to turn off the battle statistics? I want to be able to go and friend players instead of racing to keep up with the names in the chat.

I don't get it, in what kind of battle do you find yourself "racing" to friend players? People don't leave the battle that fast, so you always have enough time to just click a name and select the "add friend" option. And even if they leave before you can click them, you can just use the "add friend" option and add them by typing their nickname manually.

 

Also, your idea won't even solve this "issue". If the Tab list is on until you turn it off again, it still update automatically and when someone leaves the battle, they disappear from the Tab list even if you had it open at the time of their leave.

Well, the only real change to the battle statistics is are the kills, deaths, k/d, and exp...i think. And in some games, it's hard ot keep up with the chat you know? It would solve this issue. If th person leaves, too bad for me then. What if you're somebody who can't remember much? Say the player you want to friend had a really complicated name...some people can't simply remember random numbers, letters and symbols. Maybe you dont find yourself trying to add everyone as a possible friend, but I do. Weird it seems, but it's better than getting pissed off im losing and swearing up a storm right?

I still don't get how your idea for changing Tab to be an on/off toggle button will help you with the issues you described. Not to mention that I still think that these 'issues" are nowhere near serious enough to be worth developers' time for making this change.

He is saying that having the toggle on and off stats would allow him to click on the players name and friend him. On a laptop you are not able to move the mouse and click when pressing tab so this would be impossible. I too think this is actually a good idea and would it really be that hard for a developer? No It would litterally take five minutes or less even.
