How to avoid getting hacked!

Hey guys,

 

There is a problem that even the moderators/admins can't even solve i,e, Hacking problem.It is a problem that only we can solve.

 

So,I created this topic to raise awareness among those who fear of getting "Hacked"

 

Here u can post some advises related to this topic.

 

My suggestions

 

1)Do not trade accounts

 

2)Do not enter or download cheat engine or  crystal generator.

 

3)Please make sure ur entering this game through the right browser or download client (they may be clones made by hackers) 

 

4)Do not use public wifi for playing this game.

 

5)Make sure  that u remember the email password & don't reveal our email & use an email of  a strange name (not related with your nickname)

 

6) If a person offers to give you crystals for linking your account to an email he gives , DO NOT do that. Your account will be under his control then.  Thank you AshsPikachudwij for this advice.

When this happens I just R-click their name and then choose the 'Ignore' option. Works like a charm.

One more thing some hackers disguises themselves as buyers so be careful.

Guys remember that hackers sometimes do not pick random users so make sure dat ur friend is not a hacker.

A note to admins please be aware because if you want u can catch a hacker.

 

How?

 

There r 2 types of random hackers

1)1 who do it for fun/attention

 

2)1 who do it money & here for crystals.

 

But we can nab the one who do it for fun/attention.Suppose a hacker hacked an account(suppose) if he do it forfun/attention he will try to communicate with other hackers to show off they wont use language  English but a different language like their mother tongue or  the hackers language which I call SI language like SI unit.So if the admin/mod takes action for hawk eye watch in especially in RU then it is possible to save an account & serve justice to the attacked victim.

Two common ways people get hacked,

1, being gullible, falling for crystal 'hacks' or similar, and as seen on lobby chat a lot, changing their emails to one not of their own, and which becomes a chain reaction and keeps going on, this still happens currently,

2, and not entering ur account details in the correct forum/site, yup, there was an incident last year where someone or people made an almost identical site similar to the current forum page, and it takes ur log in details, and maybe your email and its password. i still see rare cases as such,

 

Truth being said, it is impossible to stop such happening, we can only warn people, and as far as it goes, maybe tanki could add something else as a security feature, although it ma make it more complicated, i.e a secret question and answer?

Yes making a clone site is now common within the hackers so that  means we r unintentionally giving our passwords to the hackers.

Actually bro0088, ive hacked many accounts. If you use someone elses wifi or give away your email, you probably have bigger problems than your tanki account.

 It is because a hacker can use special networking tools (e.g Wireshark) to capture the packet that contains your password for Tanki.
