When pressing "R", it show of which alteration the player is using (or showing "no alteration") 

 

Situation: (won't work in a heat of a battle) unaware, i go in front (teammate) of a twins user who happens to not be using the non-splash damage alt then dies from my mistake.

 

Side note: having to view your enemy's alterations or not (probably not, too much advantage as they maybe using non-splash damage alt or knowing of which opponent to avoid)

That is different, alterations is like abilities so that is why it should be kept secret for example, thunder has an alteration with no splash damage and the enemy will not know that so instead of keeping a long distance they will come closer and will be dealt with maximum damage. you sure do but players mostly uses alterations in thunder and twins to get rid of the self damage so having this option really doesnt affect anything much

Its pretty obvious if someone has an alt as soon at they start firing at you. Like if you see a rico projectile going at 9999 mph.

Yes but at the same time it is a disadvantage to thunder and twins if they have no splash damage alteration.

Just like players have the option to display protection modules in battles, there should also be an update planned for giving the ability for players to display their equipped turret alterations in battles. The alterations must be displayed above the protection modules and below the turret and hull modifications.

By having the ability for players to display their equipped alterations in battles, that will ensure that other players know whether or not you have an alteration equipped.

 

By the way, when pressing the R + ALT keys, it should display both the equipped alterations and protection modules at the same time. This will ensure that there are not too many combination keys. There is no need for developers to assign a separate combination key(s) to display the equipped alterations in battle.

Well, in the html5 version, currently you cannot see alterations while pressing R. I do hope it's just something that needs to be added.
