Challenge tasks that replace challenges.

Challenges are ruining battles faster than anything else in the high ranks. So my solution is to replace challenges with challenge tasks.

 

So here's how these tasks will work:

 

1) there'll be a button called tasks, click it and a task will pop up.

 

2) finish the task to earn stars and then another task will pop up.

 

3) they will also take account of what you have and what you don't have in terms of the highest modification you have.

 

4) don't like the task you've been given? You can have one free skip a day and then pay a fee.

 

Here are some tasks that you may see, some of them with restrictions, some that require contributing to your team:

 

· Place on top 3 in a solo battle x amount of times without using an overdrive.

 

· Give flag or ball to a teammate x amount of times.

 

· Share OD with teammates x amount of times.

 

· Fully heal teammates x amount of times. (Isida, titans dome, dictators OD).

 

· Get x amount of kills.

 

· Finish x amount of battles using a specific drone or alteration. (If you have it)

 

· Finish x amount of battles without using a specific drone or alteration. (If you have it)

 

· Score x amount of points in battles.

 

· Earn x amount of crystals in battles.

 

Anyway that's all I can think of. I may add more. But this would definitely be a suitable replacement for challenges.

I think they should have an ongoing series of challenges that stays for each player, from recruit to legend. Rather than earning stars in battles for them, you complete tiers for a certain amount of missions per tier. The rewards would of course be fixed and likely not that great, maybe some exclusive prestigious paints for keypoints in your career like Warrant Officer, Brigader, etc.

You mean like Daily Mission but to be done in weeks.

 

I suggested Super Missions before, like the floater Weekly Mission. 3 of them, then 2 Chains like today's Weekly Missions. But I think Tanki prefers Challenges and WAR.

 

I think to improve battles Tanki needs to discourage TDMing, 0 EXP Missioners, Gold Hunting and hacking during 20X Golds. And they need to improve MM system.

Agreed, MM battles are ruined because of this star stuff, everyone tries to get kills. This is leading low-quality battles, which is really bad.

the idea is good , but some missions you have said i don't like them ... We need easy missions , but needs a lot of works

We don't a need a mission that needs hours to finish for example " Become the JGR XX times" 

We need an easy mission but in same time it needs a lot of work " score points in battles 0/5000 or 0/2500"

earn crystals in battles 0/2000

Maybe the higher difficulty mission could reward you with more stars. But yeah I guess becoming juggernaut is too hard.

I decided to remove "become juggernaut x amount of times".

Tasks could be added as a secondary type of rewards, but challenges must remain in the game for all ranks. There is no need to remove challenges.

It's not removing challenges. Instead of earning stars from battles, you earn them from completing these tasks, some of which can be completed before the battle ends (easy), in which case you can go claim them and move on to the next task. Some will require four or more battles to complete (hard) which will be ok because like missions, the harder the task, the bigger the reward.

That's great. Let's keep challenges for all ranks.

 

Tasks are a great idea for earning stars. I like the tasks idea because players could earn more stars quicker which would make it somewhat easier and less efforts for completing challenges, since challenges now have more tiers.

Actually , the problem of the challenges are not in the tiers , but in the stars ... when the amount of stars required is high, then it’s not easy to finish the challenge but adding tiers is a good desicion because you will get more rewards ( especially for battle pass players)

I guess it could be like "use overdrive ability on X tanks". So for Wasp it would be number of enemies in blast radious, for Hornet and Viking - kills while OD is active, Hunter - number or tanks disabled, Dictator - number of teammates helped (and maybe enemies frozen), Titan - number of teammated in dome, Mammoth - number of kills with OD.

 

Yeah, it's not exactly balanced since it's hard to get kills with Mammoth but easy to get teammates into a dome, but still kinda works.

Yeah, it's not exactly balanced since it's hard to get kills with Mammoth but easy to get teammates into a dome, but still kinda works.

That's why I posted an idea that ODs should get both a personal ability and a team gain aspect.

It would be a good idea to create tasks on earning stars. However, developers could increase the number of stars for higher places and balance them out so that players from all places can earn stars according to their positions, not their playing skills. For playing skills, a mastery level feature would be required both for the individual turrets players use in battles and also the hulls driving, drifting, jumping from ramps and pushing/blocking players from capturing balls, flags and control points.

 

In team battles there are 8 places. For DM and juggernaut there are 16 places. Stars should count as placements like this:

 

Team battles:

 

1st place - 8 stars

 

2nd place - 7 stars

 

3rd place - 6 stars

 

4th place - 5 stars

 

5th place - 4 stars

 

6th place - 3 stars

 

7th place - 2 stars

 

8th place - 1 star

 

Solo battles - Juggernaut and Deathmatch:

 

1st place - 8 stars

 

2nd place - 8 stars

 

3rd place - 7 stars

 

4th place - 7 stars

 

5th place - 6 stars

 

6th place - 6 stars

 

7th place - 5 stars

I'd rather have the aspect of earning stars through battles removed because they encourage selfishness and greediness most evidently in team battles. And replaced with the idea I had posted.

Good idea .. But if u want it to be implemented you need to do it in a single post ..

+ this idea might affect the economy of the game , so it will make challenges easier .. and you'll be earning everything without having pain... 

and this affects the economy of game

I think a little bit of solution can be achieved by encouraging team play, better match making, and better distribution of stars. But not a lot of solution because the big unbalance comes from drones and ODs.

And this includes everything you have listed.

 

Giving flag or ball and sharing OD would be considered teamwork. And restricting the player from using certain drones alterations and ODs during that time, would help nerf those things.

I like the idea of tiers bonded to tasks rather than to stars . This is valid for all ranks , the higher the tier the more difficult the task , but in general it takes out the nr playing games and also fighting within same team to get in the 1st places . When you are lucky you can get plenty of missions in a day , when something not going well for you you can get stuck somewhere but those are individual tiers.

I would add that during the challenge , you are allowed to change like 3 times , and with premium 6 times the missions needed , which in fact gives you more chance of finishing them , and if you do not like , change mission .

I already figured that placing fees on task changes after the first one which is free would be good enough.

Giving flag would be abused, just play with friends and give each other the flag 100 times in a battle.

 

Sharing OD would only work for Dictators and maybe Titan.

 

Restricting certain equipment would only benefit buyers, because they have more equipment to choose from. Restrict one drone and buyers would use another, while non-buyers with one drone will use nothing.

 

Restricting OD... players will forget during battles, use OD, then rage.
