Titan VS. Mammoth

Both are excellent hulls to play with and can provide a mean defense when playing on the field. However, many players wonder which hull is better. Both have enormous health (600+ with double health) and relatively acceptable speed at M3. However, when M4'd, Titan seems to surpass Mammoth in all fields except weight (Mammoth is slower) and health. Of course, the Guardians Kit, which is unlocked at Field Marshall, can get you to save a bunch of crystals for the m3 Titan. Mammoth is only available for Generalissimos at the current time. So, which do you think is better?

I have mamoth m2 on my alt, microupgraded halfway. It's slow, but with everyone else using light hulls, a mamoth in defence of the winning team wins you the game! With a couple isidas constantly healung, you can even attack and occupy the enemy base while your teammates with lighter hulls carry the falgs. Even after the drug update i managed to get a D/L of over 20.

It has less health so it's more difficult to stay alive. If you want to be a full-on indestructible mobile fortress, then why go with the second toughest hull? Titan's only real advantage is being able to shove all the other hulls around.

But what about titan's speed? It is much much faster than mammoth especially with a nitro perk on. Doesn't speed compensate for health as well as force and turning ability (for gold boxes)?

I never really used titan (just got m0 on a newbie acc), so I can't really compare them. I'm just reciting observations from other players' experience with titan and from my own encounters in battles  :)

Hmm....... my choice: Mammoth. Durable with DA, but slow with only maximum of 5 speed.  I use Nitro to get to defensive position near the flag and just camp there. I guess it depends on the need for mobility really. Any fortress, whether with Titan or Mammoth can only go so far without a good team. I once fend off 4 enemies from the left flank of silence (Red Team). Extra health goes a long way with defense. (Everyone seem to have disappeared, leaving me behind alone at the time.) But major problems for me were Isida/Viking ramming against the vehicle with other enemies for support and from multiple directions. But in all fairness, Titan has its own benefits. As for gold boxes...it depends on luck for me.

I'm not sure about taller...

I wonder if there is any data available of the dimensions of the different hulls. I'm pretty sure dictator is the tallest, however it might only be an illusion.

I just battled a bunch of high ranked generalissimos and you know what, I noticed that the most dominant heavy tank is mammoth. There even was an izzy mammy combo :blink: . Well, I guess that could be a brutal combo if used correctly. Dang I wonder if the developers made the guardians kit just to amp up titan XD. I guess health is everything...........I guess

That's not the reason. Before the re-balance of all items, mammoth was the second tier heavy hull and the most feared tank on the battlefield due to its extremely OP power when on full drugs. After the re-balance it remains the heaviest hull and high ranked "old school" tankers still buy it because it's already familiar and known for being "most badass"

Titan is better for getting drops and golds cause if gold is far titan will get their faster and if gold is close titan will push mammy

Hey are there kits that generals can buy in which they are able to get m3 mammoths???? I recently saw a 4 star general with an m3 mammoth as well as a two star general with the paint Zues. Are these kits only available for players at the upper ranks?

look at m1 stats for titan and compare them to dictator  , titan lacks in speed and i find it has not got enogh speed for its armour toshae

I'd go for Titan - it's faster, more powerful, and cheaper overall, and only has a small amount less health than Mammoth. Plus it's smaller, whereas Mammoth is a huge target on the battlefield.

They are heavy hulls  :mellow:  Why am I looking for a speed racer?  They are meant for HP, so why get a hull with lower health? If I wanted a mixture of health and speed, I'd just get Dictator. Which I already have  :P
