Open testing of the new physics for hulls

I think there should be a refund along with this update. . .it's not a small change. . .it's quite noticeable. Or at least a refund on only the hulls. . .

Exactly; they can't just make a (rather large, IMO) change and not refund us. After testing the new physics, I'm way more interested in the medium hulls, but I didn't buy one yet. Without a refund I'd be stuck with what I got before this change. I think the new physics are cool, although the aiming while turning is kind of messed, but I'd be happy if we were allowed to choose our hulls anew. Otherwise, Tanki is cheating us of valuable crystals spent on an idea different to what we will get. It's like I buy a chocolate bar, but the cashier switches it out for another one that I don't choose. It's not the one I wanted, so if the original one is confiscated, I should be able to go back and pick a different chocolate bar I like. This is the reason why I think we must be given a refund.

Of course there won't be such feature.

The reason we got the refund back in the day wasn't due to changes in parameters of turrets and hulls. It happened because the whole system of weapons was changes. Things you were able to get at your rank became impossible to buy after the update. Tier 1 and Tier 2 got removed and all the guns and hulls were made equal.

This time it's just parameters of SOME turrets and hulls, it's even more about how hulls feel.

 

Secondly and most importantly it's about technical limitations, now it's impossible to give all the crystals back to all the players as easily as it was done the last time.

 

SO there won't be a refund.

 

Also don't forget that it's still a test and some thing will most likely be adjusted.

 

Don't forget that people tend to be afraid of new things, then they get used to it. This case is not an exclusion. Just try it out, wait till it is released, you gonna love it.

Wasp maneuvering is horrible :mellow:  Dictator is going to be the best hull IMO

Dictator+Ricochet = Domination .

 

Lucky whoever has this combo. And lucky for Ricochet users like FloatingDog. Everyone else is screwed.(Unless you buy some crystals)

And for those who didn't have a chance to try it all out, here's a brief list of all the changes:

 

Wasp

The fastest and the most maneuverable hull.

The smallest weight.

Not the best acceleration and braking.

 

Hornet

A fast hull with a good weight.

Drifts in turns so it's unlikely to roll over.

 

Hunter

A medium hull with high speed.

Acceleration has been decreased.

 

Dictator

Lighter than Hunter, but heavier than Hornet.

The most maneuverable of all the medium hulls.

 

Viking

Very stable and heavy hull.

Easily pushes other hulls, except for heavy ones.

Decreased maneuverability.

 

Titan

Heavy hull, can push other tanks.

A lot less maneuverable than medium hulls.

 

Mammoth

Big and slow.

Low maneuverability.

The best protection.

 

All turrets

Increased recoil when shooting.

Higher kinetic impact on opponents' hulls.

Turrets' rotation speed has been slightly increased.

 

Ricochet

Projectiles travel a lot faster.

 

Twins

Projectiles' speed has been decreased by one-third.

 

Mine

Kinetic impact has been increased.

There were no lags on Test server +1 !

When I start testing I didn't like it but after 2 hours testing I understand how it works... I think you guys have to update mamouth a bit more, you can't turn in, so it seriously badly, also titan and Hunter aren't that good...
