professional servers

Hello,

I understand that people enjoy to maximize the power of their tanks with supplies.

I prefer the raw power (* btw check Iggy Pop - Raw Power, nice soundtrack to Tanki)

But I can't find any server besides Sv 2 to play Pro battles, and only at late hours I can enter this server. Right now I'm trying for more than 1 hour to enter server 2.. 

 

Suggestion: What about creating specific servers to pro battles?

Yea this would be nice but...theres good stuff as well as bad stuff.

Good stuff:

Nice high fund.

Some good games with no mults.

Bad stuff:

Mults and  ruiners on double funds they will come and storm start going around collecting crystals with prodigi on.

Many people have problems getting onto high servers. You could get into Server 3 and make a pro battle. There is always XP battles!

1 hour O.o I normally get into server 1 after refreshing not more than 15 times. 

I get in quite easy as well and it never toke me an hour if i didn't get in a few times i'll go to server 5.

Yes, now I remembered to insert the adress and not to access through the shortcut from the main page, it has been easy to enter that way. It was only a suggestion, I would like to enter a server and have a lot of offers of pro battles and not to be scattered throughout all the servers. Maybe some day..

Pro-battles are costly to afford, such a battle is not worth for the low-ranker to play but it's the daily tanker's wish . Besides, server1 is the hot spot for pro-battles.

Honesty, PRO battles are a bit expencive for my wallet and I am a daily tanker... I wish I could play because I prefer non drug game, but 5000 per month is a little too much for me.

That's why I proposed a small discount (3000 would be ok, or to be more just, the best cost would be depentable on the player's rank, just like daily gift is. The bigger the rank, the bigger the cost).

I believe that he's assuming that the Team that is already winning, will win. The team that has the lead, will retain that lead until the very end, and there would be no point in battling anymore since the outcome has already been "decided." Note that I put the word "decided" in quotes.

 

I can definitely see the reasons behind this view, though I do not fully agree with it. First of all, in PRO battles, drugs are not present. Drugs, as many know, are so far the biggest table-turners in any battle. It only takes a couple, or even one, drugger to completely turn around a battle.

If you take that out, then the battle would pretty much go one way.

 

Think about this. WHY is the team winning? It pretty much goes to show that the winning team has more skill, and/or better equipment. That is also why these battles are called PRO battles. You're going to need to put those skills to the test.

 

So with those points said, I don't blame him for 'guessing' the outcome already and assuming that the team with the lead is going to win.

 

However, there are a couple of factors that can change this, even without drugs. A very important teammate may leave, or a very powerful and skilled opponent may join the opposing team. You've heard of those groups of druggers who go around flooding empty teams and taking over battles, right? The same can be done here. Groups of friends with very high skills, communication, coordination, and equipment level may team up and accomplish the same general idea.

 

Not to mention (correct me if I'm wrong), don't PRO battles allow Drug drops as well? These drug drops (boxes) could be game changing at times as well.

 

All in all, when your opponent has the bigger lead, it takes guts, skills, and mental toughness for the losing team to NOT give up hope, and still strive to win. After all, I don't blame them for leaving. The rewards for the losers can hardly be considered a reward at all. Though I guess it makes sense since they LOST, but I do still find it distasteful.

 

I italicized the more important parts if TL;DR. I am well aware that there are some tankers in this community that cannot engage in longer, more detailed conversations. Cheers.

Well, thinking of it, I agree it probably is the most common senario.

 

So, in two words, "the initially winning team is more likely - but not certainly - to end winning as well".

 

In addition to what you said, there are results and results... it's one thing a final score 10-2 and quite another a 10-8, don't you agree? I mean, in terms of earnig funds...

right... for my rank, 5000 crystals is not a neglectible quantity... that's why I proposed a discount up to 3000 crystals for a months pass..
