It should be that gold box gives you either xp/ crystals and it chooses randomly between them when you get it

I really don't like this also this has been suggested about 15 times, everyone rejected it except a few people.

That sounds fun, but unfortunately, I can't support your idea. You see, catching a Gold Box does involve some skill, but more often than not, it has a lot to do with, "luck of the draw". Hence, receiving XP in exchange for the box would offset the actual skill a player has vs their rank, which should always be equal. The way Gold Boxes are right now seem pretty good to me, and to add such an idea as you are suggesting, would mess up the rank to skill ratio.

But if you don't have enough crystals or better equipment for next rank then it Is simple. Don't take XP box. Whoever needs it will take it.

 

The idea is good. It is upto the tankers. They need to be smart and plan things.
