Sharing accounts with family and friends should be allowed

I share my account with friends and with my brother who lives in a faraway country and i find it my right to do so, since this account property is "Mine" 

 

All Applications allow account sharing apart from "Tanki" doesnt do it for the following Reasons as they claim:

 

1- If you share your account then it will be difficult to retrieve it if you raise a complaint that it has been hacked

 

2- IF you share your account then some may use it to use hack programs or to do insults 

 

3- If you share your accounts then so many people can play with one account to achieve xp 

 

4- $

 

 

Answer to this 

 

Its not your business if i share my account with a friend or family, its my responsibility and everybody's responsibility to do whatever they like as much as they are not breaking the rest of the rules.

 

So its on my responsibility whom I can trust and thus if i shared the account with the wrong person who may use it to hack or to break rules then its for the right of Tanki to block it, ban it or whatever they find it a suitable punishment since i did it on my responsibility 

 

IF you are really that bad , report me now and block me or block this topic ..

Well, most(and I mean a major number) online games do not allow account sharing whatsoever. It's a general/standard principle all of such games follow. If you share your account with a family member, you would have two IP addresses(if both of you are not under the same roof), which would make it difficult to detect who is the account owner. 

 

Sharing accounts can also take a deceptive form - sale/purchase. If that was allowed, someone out there would sell his/her account with family members. That doesn't necessarily mean he/she would not play on it, but would sell it so that his/her brother(whom has a lower-ranked as well as weakly-equipped tank) would play with higher equipment, rank etc. Which is illegal according to the EULA & Game Rules. 

 

Not to mention 'considered a family member'. Someone would sell his account to a dear friend and play. Since we've allowed account sharing with family members, and the seller considers his best friend as a family member, we can't do anything rightfully. 

 

That is just a big chunk out of the whole "why is it not allowed" thing. There can be more administrative reasons. :)

Need of Speed does allow you to share your account with friends .. The EULA applies on other kind of products like anti viruses etc, but not on flash based games .. 

 

Need of Speed has never banned people for sharing their accounts. nor any other famous game, i will appreciate if you can enumerate some 

 

Beside, these EULA rules has been added not more than 1 year to the game, while when we agreed to open our accounts, it was more than 1 year ago .. we shouldn't fall within the category of those new players who already agreed to sign on these rules .

the EULA rules have been added some where by late 2014, i didn't sign for it as i signed for the game by 2013

i am also against 3rd party softwares and tanki should block those accounts who are using cheats. At the same time i agree with adam-90 that this should be our responsibility to let us share our account with family members living in another country. C'mon people its just a game account, we are not doing any crime.

and why only the high ranks get permantly blocked?? i see in main chat everyday newbies transfering accounts and sharing, but the end up only with a 1 month ban. BUT high ranks, especially buyer, u found out they're good for the business huh? i mean creating a new acc, investing money in it from the beggining.. well that **** wont work with us!! we want our rights to be the same as all the other!

I AGRRE with them and Dark if you haven't forgot yo can find the real owner by his email maybe like developers dont want players to share accounts coz then there will be less accounts as well who will gona make a new acc and start buyng crys from Tanki. If there are no byers then from where Tanki gona get their money this is a oke actually and as Black-eagle-8 said this are our accounts so if we share them we are taking the risk of losing it not Tanki and one more thing have respect to your own players coz if we all leave Tanki will be less popular and there wont be any new players or buyer there will be left with Russia's players who already got all hulls,turrents and paints fully MUed and as i know they wont start a new acc....and as every tanker like me if you didnt know this but we like to have more day in the year with x2 or more funds for a week and more sales coz if im right every year now are like 5-6 months and befor was like almost every month and it was like now sale on equpment for a day and MUs for a week it aint fair and also to hae more holidays in Tanki if you cant think of anything ask you own players and by the way i got friends all over the world that messege you developers like milions of time to addmack Moon silence and you say NO then think of new maps witch got 0 gravity then focus on useless updates like that o make our cameras faster like Tanki if you dont think of something FRESH then you will lose a lot of your players UNDERSTAND???

It's not. The account belongs to the developers, no matter how much money you invest or how long you spend playing on it.

After having a discussion with my colleagues, it has been decided to close this topic. Why? Let me explain that to you.

 

Firstly, the Game rules are provided by Alternativa Platform(upon which TO is built), so we cannot manipulate the rules. Perhaps tweak it a bit, but removing a valid rule is in the grounds of impossibility.

 

Secondly, sharing accounts can end up as an illegal mean of earning quick buck. One player would sell his account to his 'family member'(the reason behind the inverted commas is given above). Perhaps forever, perhaps for a limited amount of time. So doing such being illegal is the second thing.

 

Thirdly, every tanker is bound to follow Game rules. That's the contract I and you agreed upon since the first day we registered, and after the EULA was updated. We cannot violate TO rules - it would end up in severe consequences. If you do not agree with the EULA, you have no right to use your account anymore. It is stated in the second paragraph of the EULA under section 1.
