Custom Modules + mix the modules you own

Recommended Posts

Now that paints have no protection, we should be allowed to make custom modules since it doesn't matter because it shows resistances.

Also we should be allowed to put together different resistances.

Say I have a swash module, I should be allowed to keep fire protection, but say I dont like the 7 smoky protection, I should be allowed to change it with the freeze protection from jaguar too I think.

It is a shame that modules don't have a quadruple turret protection. Currently there are single, double and triple protection modules but I want to have quadruple modules as well.

Also, I would like the developers of Tanki Online to add a Custom Module. The Custom Module consists of 4 empty slots.

For example, if a players wants to buy a module and he does not have the turret protection that he needs, he can customize his module by adding or removing his turret protection.

The player might choose to customize his module, for example, by choosing Isida, Railgun, Shaft & Twins. The player can play with his Custom Module by choosing any protection he wants, and he can choose to play with empty slots in his Custom Module as well.

The above image illustrates the Custom Module. You can see that there are 4 empty slots for adding and removing protections. Please notify the developers about my idea of the Custom Module.

Thank you.

Sound like a good idea .i know for a fact a few modules i would make (i would have specific modules for each map i play very often (Rail / Shaft / Mines for Monte Carlo . Twins / Fire / Thunder or Isida for Poly CP and Twins / Rail / Smoky for Sandbox among dozens of others for other maps such as Rio and Brest

Does anyone ever think about how the devs would go about realising ideas such as this?
Here's some food for thought...

If a player chooses any 3 in any order for a new custom module, how would tanki cater for it?
eg, Vulcan, Firebird & Shaft

Consider the combinations a player can make from 11 Turrets

1=Firebird
2=Freeze
3=Isida
4=Hammer
5=Twins
6=Ricochet
7=Smoky
8=vulcan
9=Thunder
A=Railgun
B=Shaft

First you would sort it to the above order ie, Firebird, Vulcan, Shaft
Then you would give it a name from the numbers above ie, [1-8-B]

There are 11 combinations of any single turret resistance
55 combinations exist for any 2 resistances
and for 3 resistances, there are 165
making 231 combinations
multiply this by 4 modifications and we get a total of 924 combinations.

Worked out by: t! / (t-n)!(n!)

Where t is the number of turrets
and n is the number of resistances chosen

Here are the 165 raw designations for a trio module.

[1-2-3] [1-2-4] [1-2-5] [1-2-6] [1-2-7] [1-2-8] [1-2-9] [1-2-A] [1-2-B] [1-3-4] [1-3-5] [1-3-6] [1-3-7] [1-3-8] [1-3-9] [1-3-A] [1-3-B] [1-4-5] [1-4-6] [1-4-7] [1-4-8] [1-4-9] [1-4-A] [1-4-B] [1-5-6] [1-5-7] [1-5-8] [1-5-9] [1-5-A] [1-5-B] [1-6-7] [1-6-8] [1-6-9] [1-6-A] [1-6-B] [1-7-8] [1-7-9] [1-7-A] [1-7-B] [1-8-9] [1-8-A] [1-8-B] [1-9-A] [1-9-B] [1-A-B] [2-3-4] [2-3-5] [2-3-6] [2-3-7] [2-3-8] [2-3-9] [2-3-A] [2-3-B] [2-4-5] [2-4-6] [2-4-7] [2-4-8] [2-4-9] [2-4-A] [2-4-B] [2-5-6] [2-5-7] [2-5-8] [2-5-9] [2-5-A] [2-5-B] [2-6-7] [2-6-8] [2-6-9] [2-6-A] [2-6-B] [2-7-8] [2-7-9] [2-7-A] [2-7-B] [2-8-9] [2-8-A] [2-8-B] [2-9-A] [2-9-B] [2-A-B] [3-4-5] [3-4-6] [3-4-7] [3-4-8] [3-4-9] [3-4-A] [3-4-B] [3-5-6] [3-5-7] [3-5-8] [3-5-9] [3-5-A] [3-5-B] [3-6-7] [3-6-8] [3-6-9] [3-6-A] [3-6-B] [3-7-8] [3-7-9] [3-7-A] [3-7-B] [3-8-9] [3-8-A] [3-8-B] [3-9-A] [3-9-B] [3-A-B] [4-5-6] [4-5-7] [4-5-8] [4-5-9] [4-5-A] [4-5-B] [4-6-7] [4-6-8] [4-6-9] [4-6-A] [4-6-B] [4-7-8] [4-7-9] [4-7-A] [4-7-B] [4-8-9] [4-8-A] [4-8-B] [4-9-A] [4-9-B] [4-A-B] [5-6-7] [5-6-8] [5-6-9] [5-6-A] [5-6-B] [5-7-8] [5-7-9] [5-7-A] [5-7-B] [5-8-9] [5-8-A] [5-8-B] [5-9-A] [5-9-B] [5-A-B] [6-7-8] [6-7-9] [6-7-A] [6-7-B] [6-8-9] [6-8-A] [6-8-B] [6-9-A] [6-9-B] [6-A-B] [7-8-9] [7-8-A] [7-8-B] [7-9-A] [7-9-B] [7-A-B] [8-9-A] [8-9-B] [8-A-B] [9-A-B]

You would then add the modification to the end
eg, [1-8-B-M0]

Then you'd need a system to give them fancy names.

All this is not much more difficult to what they've already produced. I think a lot more people would spend money if they could make their own custom made module. But I'm just an arrogant player that likes to moan simply because there is change and I never give any ideas any real thought.

Solution:

Is Custom Module can be buyed by Premuim and  When you click buy it will ask you which protection you want select them . You can only select once and then after you can't change them .

Couple of questions -

Does this mean there's just going to be 1 custom module in the garage?

Can you change a custom protection palette anytime and infinitely?

Thinking aloud - now that there are so many combinations, how is it going to be worth your time in battles reading protections? You could press tab and check the shields, yes; but what if I'm trying to decide which turret I want to change to?

And again, how does this affect players who only play with one combo?

I have two suggestions regarding protection modules

1. If someone wants to buy a triple protection that is not available, he should be able to do it, but it will cost him more. For example a M3 protection against firebird + isida + railgun is not available, so it will cost 350K and once filled, the tanker cannot change the protections, only MU like regular modules with the same level (and the same cost),

2. If a tanker does not have enough crystals, but wants a mediocre protection, he should be able to buy M2 or M1 protection modules even if he is generalissimo. For example I want to play on the camp map. I want to buy Eagle D-A protection which protects against railgun and shaft. I have more than 50K crystals, but less than 150K. I cannot buy an M2 level if my rank is Major General or better.

Very plausible ideas. On the one hand they do have benefits, but on the other hand the first one just adds items which are unnecessarily expensive and the second one is an extra opportunity for players to waste crystals and end up with poor equipment on higher ranks. I think it's better to improve the modules system as a whole instead of adding new things to make it more complicated and expensive.

In fact, I don't think the first idea is possible at all. Developers wanted to add custom modules in the first place and avoid creating a massive list of them to choose from, but the only reason they didn't do that is because it's not possible to do with the way the garage interface was made. At least that's what I heard.

it can be changed.

They need to make every single combination and make a name for each of them, too much work, while they would do this, few good updates could be made
