Ideas for Information in Profiles!

Hmm tbh i think this isn't a good idea, as most of us know, there are some who lie about themselves, and some who wish to not reveal info of themselves, if there is like a privacy setting then maybe, but this isnt a social site as much although can be used as one, but it is an unnecessary thing to have, and im sure that would be of a very low priority in tanki.

I meant that if you're writing a bio in Amateur Writing, it must consist of at least 400 words according to the rules. :p A profile bio must be a short text like a bio on instagram for example.

I didn't know that the idea was based on a little text.

If it's refered of it, the profile bios would be a good feature.

Most forums its a optional field. Not required.

There is probably already a tracking of that data, they will just have to route it...

If that data were never recovered even when a long time has elapsed... Why you think there's a tracking about it? Edited by Mario3108

Just because we do not see  the data doesn't mean they don't. They most likely have some sort of admin panel where they can view traffic, stability of the servers e.g. using more CPU  - and other data.

Because they backup our data incase of a crash they most likely store that data.

BUT

If they don't have the data then they will track it for new players from the signup and from whatever rank you currently are. They can show when you were a Recruit because that would be the day you signed up.

But everything else would be based on your current rank if they don't have that data

Good point, however you have to acknowledge that a VERY long time has elapsed!!! I don't why there's no this data in the game yet.

I'm talking about your profile that shows all of your data, such as your current tank, what equipment you have, paints, etc. It'd be cool to know how many people viewed it.

Ehhh...that's not really what I meant. I mean, it makes the user more of a target for hackers. Hackers will try harder for a buyer account with 500k, etc.

Like I said, I doubt there's anyone in Tanki, who actually "hacks" players' accounts. Player's accounts get stolen ONLY due to their own fault, such as falling for scam websites, downloading malware, having a simple password or sharing their account. I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure there's no professional "hackers", who spend their time to get into a Tanki account without having a password.

I'd personally like that the age of users to be displayed, it would prevent me from wasting time replying to juvenile attention seekers

Isn't it already obvious by the way they speak and react to certain things?

Well if you're right then that's a huge relief. :)

Not only scam or simple nicks and passwords.

THERE IS ONE WEBSITE CALLED "BugMeNot" .

Players just give or let their play in their accs Since, when these accs get suspended!

Actually, I had a friend once who had over 210k crystals in her account and she posted how much crystals she had in the chat and the next day she found her account getting hacked, because the hacker bought items that she didn't want. So she contacted tanki support to remove the items from her account. The issue has been solved.

This is actually a true story, hackers will do anything to get their hands on another person's crystals.

Oh and she never posted her password in chat. And this happened in 2015.

You'd be surprised about the amount of people who know about computers and hack stuff simply for the fun of it.

Besides, even accepting your point, why add something to the profile that would make some players more appealing as scam/hacking victims?

In addition, it would be nice to show "total damage inflicted" and "total damage received", and from there, "damage ratio." This would help counter the bias against light hulls with short-range turrets in the k/d stats, and even the flags/points captured.
