Declined Website for Old TO.

My suggestion is to make a new website for old TO for ages to because everytime TO update so they remove / add features , you can switch by every time TO updated starting from 2009 to 2017 and it continues to all ages.

Sorry, we do not accept ideas to bring back some old status of the game.

(your idea was to have a webpage where the player can choose which update version of Tanki Online he likes to play)

 

 

It would mean a lot of work,

- to dig out all the code backups of the past

- to validate all of those old versions vs the newest flash player versions and newest browsers

- to maintain all that old code (users will complain that things do not work)

- to code something that sets up a virtual server each time a user picks a new update-status that he likes to see

 

And after all that work, Tanki would have to pay for the additional server power, while no one would spend money on that old project.

 

Besides the game moves to html5, and they will not migrate all the old versions; they will simply migrate the latest version of the game. Flash is a dying technology and there is no point in setting up a project that let you play this game in old flash code.

 

Please note:

-> only players choosing the same update status could play together

-> Or in other words: it is very likely that your personal most favorite version of Tanki gives you an empty battle list, even if 50 players of your rank are online.

 

 

 

If they would do it, then the community of players interested in the old style game play would completely split up over 300 patch versions, as the firebird users will play in an update status where fire was strong, while the Rico players will preffer "their good old times", and so on.

The more you split up the community, the less players you end up to play against.

Also , NO one will play TO again except helpers , devs. All players will leave this time you will decide to #MakeTankiGreatAgain

 

 

 Doesn't matter with me TO again , I hate it so much about their updates all they do is to remove good features and add bad features.

Well I am sorry that the game changed in a way that you do not like. But unfortunately for you, that's the way it did change.

There were some reasons too.. and although we do not all know all reasons / or share the reasoning behind it.

You can be pretty sure that the responsible are aware of the main complaints that the community arises; but you simply can not make all players happy with one version of the game. On the other hand, splitting the game up to several versions does not work either (due to reasons I gave in post#2).

 

So if you are absolutely unhappy with the game now, you can go to Cedric's office thread and write your complaints there (but remember he is not in charge of updates and changes either). Or you leave, and take a look back in 4 months. Games change.. and if they change into a direction that you do not like, there is not much of a point in beeing here and waste your time having a bad time. This is a game (for you) and not a job ;)

tanki used to be better

when i  enter a battle its full with druggers 

i even like forum games more

and why do they let so many v-logs away?

and with those cheeters and hackers they have to remove good things

and why the **** dont we get prenium paint or gold boxes as often as in the begining of there release as a reward for daily missions 

i prefer les reward on daily mis than a bigger reward in pro battles

and why did they removeded secret rooms?

In my opinion the new version isn't that bad, but it will be if the Devs keeps punishing players for playing in PRO battles (you can't do missions in PRO battles and when PRO battles won't get a double crystal event.) Clearly they want to encourage players to join standard battles regularly, because in regular battles your tank and your skill doesn't matter, but the amount of supplies you have.

actually they are more usefull in lower ranks, and I used most of them while I was below 1 Mio XP :)
