Umm, that kinda sounds very rude, even with the apology :X

 

I knew a lot of people who spent time and hours and a decent amount of supplies, least you could do is encourage them to improve and nurture the community onto trying to become better. Those who made it to the finals good luck, those who didn't better luck next time and try to get creative. I've personally not invested time to see these vids, but I assume ones that made it, used magnum and/or striker in an original sort of way since all other parkour tricks are outdated.

 

Parkour is all about the thrill of skill and style and trying something new, so to everyone, keep on experimenting, make theories and try put them into action, these contests are about you as a player and a team thriving to improve and aspire the rest with jaw-dropping stunts.

Sorry to say this but Judges made mistakes...

 

Rule Says: 

• "The nicknames of the participants in a team must be clearly readable on the video."

 

 

At 0:24 you can't even see the Nickname of the railgun....

 

 

 

As I said before, we allowed all teams to have 1 trick where nicknames were not visible just because such mistakes can happen.

From the beginning the judges decided to allow one trick in a video to be without clear nicknames as such mistakes can happen to anyone. In case there were several trick in a video with unclear nicknames tho, we disqualified the team.

Consolation prizes and disqualifications

 

Consolation prizes were given to 5 teams that have impressed us and didn't break the rules of the contest. 

 

I won't specify a team, but if you wonder how a very impressive entry is disqualified, it's very simple.

 

They broke the rules of the contest or the game. Disqualification is not the thing to worry about.

Don't take it personal, but in my very honest opinion, the video you linked should not have won. I am not a judge, but if I can predict what will be the trick at the very beginning, that's a problem.

Compared to others, yes. You should have won. The tricks were nice and complicated, but we've seen them many times before.

I have, and will say it here as well - it was a group decision and your entry didn't break any rules.

 

It wasn't included in 5 runner ups because the judges have voted to include the others.

 

That said, I personally think your video deserves recognition, and it will get it :)

I am really happy for the contest winners and consolation prize winners too. You guys did an amazing job in the video. Astounding tricks, amazing edits which is what this contest requires for. Every team selected to be top 10 deserves since it is done fair and square.

Our main problem was the anti cheat system, we always died. Maybe they should remove it in parkour mode.

Wow, this may be the first MoP entry I have watched, but those stunts were very creative it took my words out of my mouth.

I mean the one with the ghost tank, then the one with rico hitting the hammer which in turn hit the other hammer to make the ramp. I saw an immense display of high team chemistry. Using striker and magnum too in a creative way. And especially the stunts performed with the freeze turret. It is not at all easy driving with a no recoil/impact turret since you need to develop a perfect velocity and need to time the run to the split second.

Also where you used the shaft to tip the magnum and when the striker was used to provide elevation.

Very creative.

 

If this year's MoP will be as good as this, I certainly do not want to miss the hype. :o

I personally loved the editing of MakMan, So's team.

But I guess that "Tandem-Polygon-Magnum" trick might be the main reason why they didn't made in consolation.

Since that trick was already done by that MOP team which is first in the list (Oye's Team)

I think since they were Russians, that's why So and MakMan thought they will apply in "Russian MOP" and there won't be any problem if they take their trick (I can totally understand it).

 

But since that team also submitted in this MOP prior to them and I guess if I'm a judge, it will be hard for me to select another team doing the same trick. The trick was done the same way in the same map at the same positions, so it will be rather flagged as "copying". Even in a different map with some improvising would be better.

 

 

 

The Oye's team video was uploaded on 22nd and @So was in my team around that time.(After he left I assembled a new team on 24th with all new players)

If he made a new team and did the same parkour then surely it was after Oye's team uploaded it.

@So was shaft in that particular trick.
