New physics update, No refund. Is this fair?

When the new physics update is added to the game, there will be a rebalance soon after, which is said here.  Turrets and hulls will stay in our garage, but the stats of hulls will be changed, and possibly turrets as well.  Do you think it is fair, that there will be no refund for any of this?  Please participate in the poll, and feel free to share your opinion.

I voted Yes because I feel the micro-upgrade may not work with the current system. Some micro-upgrade such as smoky m2 to m3 makes no sense. Tanki may need to revisit the system prior to the micro-upgrade.

I don't think the devs ever listen to players' opinions after they release the updates, but this topic can let us understand what we actually want and maybe, just maybe the devs will think about a refund. If not, then this will be another bad update.

What matters is, if the hulls are getting changed this much (possibly the turrets too), do you think it's fair that there won't be a refund?

I posted a question on the feedback site.  I asked: Will there be a refund when the new physics are added? (Click to see it).  

 

Semyon Kirov replied, saying this: "Parameters of hulls won't be changed that much. It's more about the way you feel them and how they drive.

 

There was a refund with the rebalance because it changed the game completely, tier 2 was removed as such. However, this time changes won't be so radical, it's a minor updated.

 

So there won't be a refund."

 

  In my opinion, this is not a minor update.  When I tested out the hulls in the test server, they seemed a lot different.  Anyways, I agree with you, domxxe65.

I agree.  When I tested out hulls in the test server, I realized that there were many hulls in my garage on my real account, that I probably wouldn't use after the new physics are added.

One of those hulls is Hunter M1.  It costed me 29 900 crystals.  The only reason I got it, was for its handling, which made it very good with twins M1.  But when the update happens, it will have poorer turning, while Dictator M1 will be the best medium hull with Twins, if you rely on handling.  So I won't be needing Hunter M1, but my good old Dictator M1 instead.

 

Also, as said here, Twins will be "nerfed".  This means that it will be weakened.  I have Twins M1, and I really like it for the damage it can do in just seconds.  But, if it gets weakened too much, I more likely won't be using it.  Twins M1 costs 35 100 crystals.  So, Hunter M1 and Twins M1 alone (not including anything else I won't be using anymore), would be a waste of 65 000 crystals for me.

 

And what if someone only had Hunter M1 for its handling, and Twins M1?  Once the update happens, Twins would become quite hard to use with Hunter, so they would probably want Dictator M1 for its handling.  So they would have to spend even more crystals for Dictator M1, and Hunter M1 would just be a waste.  You see, there being no refund, is a problem for almost everybody.

I know what you mean.  The developers would like it if there were more buyers, because they need money.  No Refund = More buyers.  But the truth is, it is still unfair if there is no refund.

If all Hulls which got increased speed will keep it after the update then a refund is reasonable but for Hulls only,  theres no need for weapons refund IMO.
