Update 220, 227 — Changes in maps

Updated maps are finally ready!
 

 
First of all, we no longer have different versions of some maps. Maps such as Brest 1 and 2, Highland 1 and 2, Silence 1 and 2 have been reworked. Only one map from each pair remained in the game. We tried to combine ideas from 2 different versions together and make 3 maps out of 6, that would be versatile, interesting and balanced.
 
The maximum number of players on some maps has also been changed. Now it depends on the size of the map and its gameplay (playing space, proximity of flags, etc.).
 
We've fixed quite a lot of drop zones. Now boxes will no longer land in places that can't be accessed by players.
Significant changes have been made to locations of some drop zones in order to make gameplay more balanced. Respawn points have also been modified for better gameplay.
 
Solikamsk, Silence, Barda, Kungur, Dusseldorf and several other maps have been significantly changed. We tried preserve all the key features and at the same time add plenty of new things.
 
Due to numerous requests from players, the Madness map is back! Gameplay will now be a lot more diverse thanks to reworked lower platform. We also believe that you will appreciate the originality of the new graphic design of the map, the looks of it are finally matching its name.
 
Finally, we've reviewed the system of rank requirements. From now on starting from WO4 you will be able to play on absolutely all maps in Tanki Online.

Update 227 has brought some minor fixes to many maps. Such as:

 

1) Silence balance has been changed. Blue team got more defensive positions and First Aid spawn point. Red team was weakened.

2) Slight changes to Kungur. Blue team should have better control over their flag.

3) Players cap for big maps was changed to 24.

4) Small maps should have higher drop rate for supply boxes but still not that waterfall as it was initially in update 220.

5) Player respawn points on Solikamsk and Gravity were fixed.

6) Gold box spawn point on 2042 was fixed. It no longer falls on walls.

7) Crossroad was updated.

8) Lost Temple was updated.

9) Crystal drop points on Iran were modified.

10) Map previews were updated for every map. Finally.

11) Some bushes were removed from Sandbox.

12) Other minor fixes on different maps that are not worth mentioning.

It's cool because we will discover "new" maps, but I liked the 2 silence.

I appreciate the hard work that the devs put into this and understand that it takes a lot of time... But I really hate this update... bigger / slower tanks such as titan and mammoth are almost pointless now as they made the size of the smaller maps bigger.  I really wish that they would have just made II's and III's of maps instead of removing the previous versions of the maps.
