In-Game Screenshot and Screen Recorder

Recommended Posts

+1 to spectator mode. would really like it. for the lagless thing... you cant. just get fraps. and it will be laggy on  a crappy computer.

Spectator Mode is a great idea, but an in-game screen recorder would be really laggy. All the games that I have played that incorporate in-game recorders are all very laggy.

The spectator mode has been already planned ;) :

Planned
  • Creation of special EN servers. English players will be automatically redirected to them;
  • Ability to follow a specific player in Spectator Mode;
  • Ability to choose a server right in the game;
  • Desktop shortcut for direct access to the game;
  • Ability to instantly delete all messages posted by a player on all the servers;
  • Updated anti-flood system;
  • Importing and inviting friends through social networks;
  • Dependent cooldown of supplies. It will be impossible to use all supplies at the same time;
  • New type of supply;
  • Prototypes for 2 new turrets;
  • System of automatic battle creation;
  • System of personal offers (individual discounts).

How about a automatic screenshot of when you rank up and get gold boxes. This could be an option in the settings and you could disable it anytime. This would allow you to get a perfect screenshot. Maybe for battle result too?

For Golds and rank-ups that is a good idea but battle rewards not so much. What if you lose the battle and it takes a screen and you don't want it? For battle rewards its easier to use the Print Screen button on your keyboard.

Guys why do some players play in "Standalone Flash Player"? Coz I play on my browser.

It takes you directly to the game,NOT wasting time on first going to the site,then choose the server

and I think it is a little faster too :)

No, I didn't mean it like that. First open up Standalone Flash Player, log into Tanki. Then start up Fraps. Make sure the FPS overlay is on:

If the FPS number is showing in the Flash Player window, then you can record. Press F9 to record or whatever hotkey you use.
