Have clan war but not the right equipment? No problem, because you can easily Rent-A-Tank! Just find a person that has the equipment you need. Borrow that equipment for free or rent it! The other player won't be able to use that equipment but you will! With the right combo, you will kill everyone!

Or, rent the combo, use it in battles earn much more crystals!

There can be a rank limit. For example: if you are brigadier, you can't rent freeze m3

To make this fair the price to be paid should be at the limits of what we call 'affordable', Right?
When at the limits of 'affordable' not many players tend to use it making the game more and more easier for people who buy, thus, increasing the posts made by you to close this again. xD

Yah, I think the game would get ruïned by it. If all people can drive around the tank of their friends there would be no goal in tanki. Then you can just do time-sharing over timezones. At European night the americans play it, at american night the Europeans play it

You are right, but I need it because of

clan wars.

Also, we paid for turrets and hulls using our own money (crystals) and we should be able to do everything we want with them. Modify, upragate or rent.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but that is part of becoming better in clans. Also your equipment counts there.

What if it was a pass and you only could borrow such tanks once every 6 months or so?

This might work if you would only be allowed a short "trial period". Like, you pay a small sum and get the item, you use it for a day or a week and then you can either buy the thing completely with a small discount, or if you didn't like it you leave it and it gets removed from your garage. The trial period would only be allowed once before you buy the item. That doesn't seem like a bad thing and it won't ruin the game because people will still be encouraged to buy things if they want to be able to use them all the time.

There should be a trail option for all equipment, like when we rented rail XT (As which some were greedy enough to spend 700k on :p)

This could work even if it doesn't convince people to buy things.  Many people will want to try every single piece of equipment but they'd receive no real long term benefit.  This would act as a huge cash sink for crystals, with rich people renting different builds when they are bored.  No need to have the complication of renting from another person if you can rent directly from the server.  Players would still need to buy for two reasons 1) Renting in the long term would be cost prohibitive, the price would severely milk people who rent regularly 2) in order to take advantage of micro upgrades.

It makes the game WAY TO EASY. You can ask a friend in real life that plays to tanki to permanently "borrow" equipment for free.
