In this topic feel free to share your ideas about improving the in-game Parkour format or the corresponding forum section. Currently there are no plans to make changes in the format, but if developers find the time to improve it - the information in this topic will be one of their primary sources of player suggestions.

 

Most popular ideas at the moment:

• Disable damage in Parkour
• Prevent sabotage from players killing others for no reason
• Add rewards for doing tricks or getting on buildings
• Remove the self-destruct delay
• Make supplies infinite (but add a limit to mines)
• Ignore Parkour battles in the personal profiles information page (kills, deaths, hours played, K/D)
• Remove self-destruct zones in the sky
• Remove equipment changing delay
• Make auto-balance off by default
• A key (or option in player settings) to toggle auto-aim (including team mates) on and off 
• "Old" repair kit mechanism in parkour mode only
• Remove rank limits in parkour

Parkour Wars

Every team have to have their flags and 1 person will take flag and go to to the top.

There will be time limit. After the time has done , whichever team has went highest they win :)

This sounds like a neat idea! Maybe in a map like Rio and in a given time of five minutes, each team has to get at least one of their members as high up as they can. Then with the team that placed at least one of their members the highest, would win. Though we could still have the flags involved to show who the team's primary focus is. The member that has the flag should be at least the first one to reach the point the team is trying to.

 

After a minor discussion with one of my colleagues we agreed that this topic is not an original idea that requires attribution towards you. This is simply the lead up to brilliant ideas to come and an official location where these brilliant ideas may reside.

Points on top of buildings which can be captured once. A team gets a member on top of a building and whoever captures first wins! Most points captured declare the winner for each battle.

2. Parkour wars and parkour contests both solo and team.

Well organized clubs should become official and get their own paint, spectator mode, avatar. 

I think tanki is rich enough to afford this without becoming bankrupt

Give spectator mode to every parkour club leader (video recorder) so he/she can record video.If parkour club is closed leader of it looses spectator mode.NOTE: Leaders (video recorders) would need to have alternate account where they will be banned and have spectator mode.

I don't think giving spectator mode to all parkour leaders would work as I'm pretty sure that they aren't going to use the facility to just record parkour.

Spectator mode is given to a selected few who apply for it and have the right requirements. If someone who runs a parkour club ends up getting spectator mode through applying then, yes that will be beneficial to the club. But giving away spectator mode to every parkour club leader won't work. whose to stop someone from just making a club to just simply get the spectator mode? Its a very valued facility used for specific purposes such as helping out the community, I don't think giving it away to multiple people just for running a parkour club is right. If anything, the parkour leader should contact a spectator to come and record for them.

Well...you're right.Only leaders of good parkour clubs would be able to get it.Only leaders of parkour clubs administration decides.There should be special form for applying for spectator as leader of parkour club.You would need to have YouTube channel and on it to have some parkour videos+ to have good, active club, etc.

To do tricks like this, have a Wasp or Hornet with a knock-back weapon run up a ramp. Have someone on the top of the ramp ram and shoot the Wasp or Hornet with Railgun, as they hit the top of the ramp. You're in for some epic flips!!

Parkourists should get their own paint (something very similar to Tracuer) to let the Tanki world know who they are :)

You would need an active club and forum page with at least 30 buildings conquered, proved through pics.
