Scoreboard contest: "Climb It Yourself" (OMP)

This contest is part of the parkour clubs scoreboard project. If you are not in a parkour club you can't participate!

Every two weeks you will be challenged to climb another place by yourself - without any help of friends (including mines).

The best entry will win regardless of when the video was sent, take your time and do your best!

 

Next challenge will start on: 12/12/2014 Waiting for parkour club leaders to decide they want to participate in the scoreboard project.

 

How to participate:

• Send a PM to SwiftSmoky with your nickname, a link to your parkour club and a link to your video.
• The subject (title) of the message must be "Climb It Yourself #" + the number of the challenge (currently #2).
• Do NOT send links to your videos in this topic because others will be able to steal your idea, videos submitted in this topic will be disqualified!
• You are allowed to submit only 1 video for each challenge, and you must climb it only once in the video. There must be only one participant per video.
• Up to 3 players from the same parkour club can participate in the same challenge.

Video requirements:

• Your nickname must be clearly visible in the video.
• The video must show clearly how you complete the challenge, from close enough and without fast motion or cuts.
• You may invite another player to record the video.
• The video must be uploaded to YouTube.

This is not an official contest, which means you can't win crystals here (maybe this contest will become official in the future if the admins will like it).

The scoreboard will be added when the winners will be announced.

The following stats will be displayed:

• score
• times participated
• victories
• S/P (score divided by times participated, to compare old clubs with newer ones in a fair way)
• score gained from last challenge - just so you can see how good you were last time.

Details about the score given in this contest

 

The score of the participants is calculated based on the following factors:

[Name (max points given for it) - Description.]

 

Speed (7) - The faster you get to your destination is the more score you get.

Equipment (7) - Use equipment that makes it harder to reach the destination (for example, using Smoky instead of Ricochet) without losing speed.

Shooting (6) - Shooting less while climbing shows how well you control your tank.

Damage (4) - If you use a weapon that can deal damage to you (like Thunder/Ricochet) you will lose score for taking damage that could be avoided.

Style (3) - Make it look cooler! (It doesn't mean you have to do stunts every time you jump...)

Confidence (3) - Reached the destination without shooting at all? You will get more score for it if you had Isida/Firebird/Freeze equipped as a proof to that you knew you can make it without shooting, and didn't make it so perfect occasionally.

 

There is a 5 points bonus for the winner.

 

In the best case your parkour club will win 95 points from this contest.

This is the winner of the previous video, as you can see it is #2 now. I use it as an example to show that the winner of every challenge will be shown at the start of the video of the next challenge. As you can see, the video of the last winner comes before "the next place".

It got deleted, probably cause I was asking for likes and subs... This time I don't do anything stupid and I got williew's support.

 

Also now it's different, it was a contest with no prize, now it still got no prize but it is a part of something important. (the parkour clubs scoreboard)

For now you only get score for the scoreboard, which adds to the reputation of your parkour club (right now the project just started but it'll become more popular soon and many clubs will try to get the best score). If the admins will like this game they will make it official and add a crystal prize to it. I will contact them after the current challenge will end.

This is a good question, I'll think about it and let you know what I decided.
