I want to learn the reason if moderators delete my topic

Recommended Posts

Since I started, my 4 topic has been deleted. 2 of them were about drugs, 1 one them was a guide(making got my 20 days and couldn't stay at the forum 5 days!), and the last one was double topic. No one said that my topics have been deleted., or no one explained anythink. How can I fix my mistakes without any "feedback"?

My idea is that if anyone delete topics, should explain to that topics' writers the reasons.

I do not think it unreasonable to expect a brief explanation.  We realize that moderators have their own life and games to play and are very grateful but a few words would not harm, surely.  Perhaps some ready printed explanations , the moderator could just tick the appropriate one and that wold suffice.  Some topics might merit immediate removal because of racism, sexism blatant rule breaking or some other heinous offence.  However many are a matter of person opinion by what ever moderator takes offence.  Some moderators are OK with things and may contribute to a post, another comes along just strikes it off, perhaps because it is not in his or her interests or they disprove in some way or maybe their is, a very good reason.

On the whole I believe most moderators do a very good job most of the time.  Going the extra mile,  might explanation might encourage others to think the same also and not be bitter about some decision that might be thought of as high handed.  I reported a case earlier about rule breaking and going against the spirit of things.  The accuse aught to know what he was being punished for if same action was taken against him.  Its just courtesy and makes things run smoother without causing bad feelings.

We do value you!

Just my normal overly long and elaborate post  :D

Please stop writing in large font yellow italics, my eyes hurt after reading your posts, so I stopped reading them.

Funny, now I know posts that are written by you without looking at the post author.....
