Ability to order your own toy that resembles your in-game tank!

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm wildwest16, a tanki enthusiast!

I have a recommendation, here it is: I believe that tanker's should have the ability to be able to have a model of they're very own tank from the game, you know, to display in they're room! I think they should be able to send in an order, telling the turret of they're tank, the hull, and the paint! I think that many people will agree, ever since I started playing the game, I've wanted my own model of my tank to be in my room.

Please consider,

wildwest16!

There already is merchandise that you could buy, I'm saying adding some sort of form that you could fill out telling the hull of your in-game tank, as well as the turret and paint, and of course payment method's, you'd also have to give your name so that they could ship it to your home. Here's a good example.

Payment-type: Credit-Card;

Card-Number: (000)(000)(000);

Name: Your-Name;

Your Tank Turret: Isida;

Your Tank Hull: Hornet;

Your Tank Paint: Safari;

And the tank that they ship to me will look like this:

<object width="468" height="120"><param name="movie" value="http://tankionline.com/tankiref.swf"></param><param name="flashvars" value="hash=2a7dcd3e5&server=tankionline.com" /><embed src="http://tankionline.com/tankiref.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="468" height="120" flashvars="hash=2a7dcd3e5&server=tankionline.com"></embed></object>

This is my  personal tank.

And of course this is only a code banner, but it will look like this only irl!

It costs a lot of money... and it's a big risk for them. If they waste so muxh money for nothing, they'll make more updates to force us to pay. Maybe when it goes on Unity, and it gets more popular because it's on consoles... idk :/

I do agree, lots of money for them to spend, and who knows of they'll get it back, I'm just kinda thinking out-loud though, thought other people might like my idea! I don't actually expect any devs to see this and agree.

I actually like the idea :D I just think it's a big economic risk to the devs...

Yea, it would, for certain, cost alot of money, and who's to say that enough people would buy this for them to keep the toys in production.

Sure, although the author was more general about the idea, you kind of went right to one type of thing that could be sold.  :)

Thanks for the link.

They can use just in time (JIT) production process with some factories in china or they can do it in house using 3D printers.

Or they can find a sponsor that is willing to take the risk.

I would love to have a little model of a M3 Dictator-Thunder with Reporter paint sitting on my desk, but there are some logistical issues with making them, as others have said. This would be a great idea if it can be made possible.
