The main reason I created a parkour club is to have a good place to post stuff me and my friends do and sort everything by categories. For example, in the "our projects" section in the main post of my parkour club topic, I list projects me and my friends do and add links to the topics of each project (like the Parkour Dictionary and Parkour Fighting guides).

 

For now the parkour club works great, there are almost no troubles. The only little problem is our activity - players look forward to the Parkour Fighting guides and other videos that we said we're planning to make. We're not always able to play and make videos (especially not me) but we're ok with that because when we do have time our activity is good and we do produce a good amount of videos.

Another little problem we have is that we got no spectator for now. There is an applicant that can record for us but his activity is very limited so it's not really helping right now.

 

I have a co-leader that helps managing the club, he finds good parkourists that want to join our club and keeps the club active when I can't. He knows what videos I plan to make and he helps getting some of the footage recorded (he can't record but he tells the others what to do, helps performing the tricks and gets someone to record it).

 

I would want to get the Parkour Clubs Scoreboard Project up and running for parkour clubs, but it is not popular enough yet and we don't have enough good parkour clubs that want and can participate. Maybe dividing the parkour clubs into two groups - more active and successful ones and new/inactive ones that don't upload videos nor screenshots.

Tbh, a successful club must have members that are active on a regular day basis. That's the main issue with my current club. Even for arranged clan wars, only 2-3 people are on, which is a big disappointment.

Oh lets see, troubles, this could be a long list...naw just kidding. My biggest trouble is with activity. I have a club with 15 members, but I only get 4-5 at a given "training" session. Yes, I will probably start kicking people who don't come. Another issue I struggle with is authority. Not many people listen to me. I haven't solved these...yet.

 

I assigned a co-leader, and I have a trainer, which is basically another co-leader. It really took a lot of the pressure off of me, and it allowed me to not have to be on as much. Mostly, I give my co's the authority to accept/reject members, and I tend to allow him to lead trainings, since he's a better parkourist than me. And since he's the highest rank in the club, he makes trainings as well. As for what I want changed, I want a better range of ranks, because right now it's hard to make trainings for everyone in the club.

To all the club leaders who have problems with activity! The best solution in my opinion is to use Skype or some other IM program to be able to chat any time, even when the players are not in the game, plan parkour sessions together, or just call friends to join a parkour session. This is the method I use and it works great for me - I have a Skype chat with all F&F members and we just chat there about tanki and call each other to do some parkour. This way everyone can do parkour at a comfortable time for them, and there are no problems that clubs with regular "trainings" have.

It is hard getting active members that attend training with skills.

 

Only accept people with a certain amount of posts/ post regularly.

Kick any members who did not post regularly.

Getting members that are high/low enough.

 

 

If so I wouldn't be a co-leader.

I have authority.

Edit the topic, kick members on their own.

Co-leader can edit topic as well as leader.

 

 

BTW I am co-leader of ENP .

Yes it would be cool if their are parkour club wars but parkour is where we can shows our skills to everyone... About the Parkour Club war we cannot do that it's only done in Clan or in Starladder. Edited April 8, 2015 by Areeb321

I have some troubles, some memeber wants to join my club but not posting " i am in this club ". Still now I didn't overcome :P , I little successfully overcome :) ....I had assign 2 co-leaders but they are now offline [they went to trip :P], i have one leader name : @momy950666 who is active and helping more and attending all training. I give tasks but they successfully complete it :).....

My trouble use to be that all of my members want to be in evry parkour trick we do (Some times i have to say "No pushing, No kiling, Like a kinder garden).
