Posting pictures in the forum

I use LightShot to upload my pictures to the forum, and that has worked well till today.

 

Today I tried to upload a picture but then it comes up "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."  Why is that? Is it a new update released? Or just a glitch? Either way I would like it removed so I can post pictures again, I don't see anything wrong with LightShot.

I highly recommend you to use ShareX instead of Lightshot. It's much more easier than Lightshot, and all of its link are allowed here. You can download it here. It will take screenshots, save them in your PC and upload it to host in one click.

To take a screenshot with ShareX, just hit "PrtScrn" button which you can find n your keyboard. The screenshot you capture will appear on the window of ShareX. For example:

 

 

If you want to upload it to host, right click on the image you want to upload and click on "Upload" button. For example:

 

 

After the upload is finished, it will notify you and the link of the picture will be copied to your clipboard. So, after the uploading is finished, just click on button and then paste it there.

It's because lightshot uses random image hosts. If you want to use lightshot to upload your pictures, right click the image when it has uploaded, copy the image (not the link) and press ctrl+V in the forum post.

In addition to what Joker said, there is a way to use Lightshot.

 

1. Take a picture using Lightshot (press "Prt Sc" on your keyboard).
2. Select the region of the screen you would like to capture (using your mouse).
3. Select the option to upload
4. Go to the picture (use the link you get after uploading)
5. Right click with your mouse to get a menu
6. Select "Copy Image Location"
7. Go to the forum.
8. Click on this icon
9. Paste the link you copied when you selected "Copy Image Location".
10. Ta da :D

Thanks for trying to help but the same thing keeps coming up. I don't know why Tanki would just stop letting players post with LightShot. :(

I have also seen this problem with my lightshot links and I know what to do,

1. Copy Image location (of the picture after clicking the link)
2. Click "Image"
3. Remove the writing before the = Equals sign
4. Your picture should be A-ok.
