Visual difference for M4 equipment

Rail and Firebird should get a different color when they're M4, you could use it to show off and it would make people fear you. It would also give a way to distinguish M3's from M4's.

Rail M4 would be red so it looks like you're shooting a laser and it would look a lot cooler than the yellow M3 rail.

Firebird M4 would be blue since blue fire is hotter than red fire.

and as so, There shouldnt be new looks for them until we have real M4s :)

Its like saying My M1 wasp is full MU and has M2 stats so should look like M2, which is a noob thought,

 

And There are many people who dont like their M4s to be known, better for enemies not to know your stats :)

This cannot be done simply because even the main subject of this suggestion, M4 equipment, is actually something us players invented. "M4" is just a colloquial name, so you can't base a whole update on it... Although the basic idea is actually quite to my taste :D

The fully micro upgraded guns may get different color, accepted. 

My suggestion: If ANY M level item's one parameter fully upgraded, the gun automatically reach the new looking.

I agree that the color should change but tanki did change Railguns texture and shape to not make it look like a laser and more like  a projectile.

Not really you cant distinguish Thunders shrapnel color. You can only distinguish the size of the area of a splashed shot.

 

Freeze on the other hand needs a change in color. It should go from transparent to white.

Or perhaps an option to enable this? If others know you are using m4s they will all only take paints that protect from you which could get really annoying.

It'd be a bit of a disadvantage to be sure.  Might be cool, especially for turrets where the projectile color can gradually change with upgrade level. 

 

Also the color of a fire isn't necessarily indicative of the temperature so much as the composition.

Though in the case of stars, it is true that blue/white ones typically burn at much much higher temperatures than their red/orange counterparts.
