Well tankers; we had an excellent turn out for this contest and I was mightily impressed by the billboards put forward by the budding artists in our community. However, there could of course only be one winner, so congratulations to the best of the best:

Truly disappointing...

 

If you look at successful billboards, you will notice a simple display.  Out of the top 3, only the 3rd represents that quality.

The top entry is cool; indeed.  But you must consider that this is a billboard.  If you are driving, how much can you pull off?

 

Well.  I can't change anything, but I just wanted to state this...

i read it as equipment advertising, like in newspapers and stuff...

They're basically saying there was only a few 'worthy' entries for the 5k. A lot of people spent a lot of time and effort doing this for TO

 

What a joke and insult to your players. No wonder they are leaving as quick as they are.

1st guy just pasted a tank on a premade background and used a Tech PSD from the web,

The result looks good, however it isn't original at all, Just a ripoff.

he broke the rules and should be disqualified ..will he no cause they have no way to get those crystals back after they gave them ..like i said its fixed judging

It seems MC choose quaility over originality, Or he might have just belived that juju created it everything. The PSD was a free licensed resouce after all..

they kept stressing to players it must be your own work and i saw way too many using off sights or  a spin off sight of tankis but not the main one like it said to use ..

 

see most mods don`t like me so no wonder i never win...they choose the players that they like

thanks ..like i just posted else where mine were ok ..but i know there where way better postings that should have won hands down ..

and then others who use items against rules should have been stated by someone before judging took place and were eliminated but we never seen it ...thanks again ..i did mine more for fun and i did have 8 entry`s so only one could be in..

He didn't break the rules. TankViewer is an 'in game' resource, that is where he got the turret from. And then the additional effects were done by him, and additional details were added in by him, i.e. he wrote the damage bar as well as reloading time and impact speed. It wasn't wholly original, no, but the quality, creativity and purpose aspects of the advertisement were very good. There is no fixed judging, it is all fair as I did it myself and the winning entries were in my opinion the best ones.

- Editing/uploading software is allowed 

- Must have at least 10 words on it

- You can use in-game images

- Preferably it should be better than mine :P

- Creativity, Beauty and Originality is key!

- Reserving posts is NOT ALLOWED.

 

 

 

and i was complaining about third place not the other two they were ok to my knowledge the other player pointed out that it was not with in the rules
