4th modification / XT

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

My idea is, to become XT for FREE, once you've get a fully, really completely upgraded m3+ (m4). Cuz it's now nonsense becoming XT's which the Gissimos have to upgrade it from start. These Gissimos used hard-earned crystals or many real money to upgrade the tanks or turrets to m3+. Isn't it logical that they earn a new look..? And if all turrets and hulls are going to appear as XT's, so why not creating a new modification, called "m4"?

This modification is only availiable

- per mission or

- with m3+

The completed mission is a normal m3.

But the XT you becomes, after you upgraded your tank/turret to m3+, is then called m4 and has the same stats as m3+..

Hope it would be implemented, how I described ^_^

There is apparently a plan to make it so that once you get your XT item from the daily mission reward, it automatically replaces the normal item in your garage and the MU progress you had on the original item transfers to the XT item. However this is only an idea the devs have in mind and it is very unlikely to become reality.

The whole point of XT is to squeeze money from hardcore buyers who already have everything they want.  I support this wholeheartedly because it makes money on purely cosmetic perks without giving an advantage.

It looks vaguely like the design for the Tanki Online 2.0 Railgun. Of course, I could be mistaken.

it is. you can find picture like those on old threads or the "art" section of the homepage.

Talking about XT... in my opinion those items should just be skins to turn on/off on your items.

XT's were made for Generalissimos, They can't be bought, they cannot be given. There are special. They look special. Buyers would simply buy all the XT's out if it was a m4 addition. It's a perfect challenge for Generalissimo's who completed the game and are bored. This shouldn't change.  ^_^

Daily Missions weren't implanted for buyers, they were implanted for us so that we also get a good fair share of crystals but we earn it a different way without using money. Thats what makes daily missions unique, and as a bonus developers added XT missions to make them a bit more unique in a different way, while buyers can not buy this item they have to play the game and earn it like everyone else. So it is currently like a fair share, if they put XT as M4 - then it would just ruin the reason of XT being only for some tankers who actually play the game and earned it fairly.

+1 Stole me words! :P

Another thing: getting XT when it turns M4 or in daily missions can confuse others. I'd be thinking the whole match that a guy is m4 whereas he got it in mission. I'd rather keep XT on it's luck so players stay on their knees when thinking of buying. You idea is suggesting to allow players to get XT by simply buying and just Micro Upgrading; Then why not just simply suggest 'Put XT equipment for players to buy  ' No.

MU's for buyers?

No. I guarantee. Buyers buy of course MU's but NonBuyers, like me, are concentrating in one or two turrets and hulls and are upgrading it, nearly completely.

So yet, it make sense, i think.

That would be awesome.

But I have no idea if this luck-based system is more expensive in terms of time and price than fully MU'ing an item.

These things should match... if I were a developer.

I'm not much of a patient guy though. :P

And it seems so logical to give a fully MU'd item a distinctive look.

On the other hand, it makes XT items less special... atleast that's what I think.

0,01% chance is sooo small, it makes MU'ing to the max look like an easy job.
