Decrease inactivity timer for TDM mode

Recommended Posts

In CTF, CP, or DM, it's not a problem when someone is inactive. Usually it puts us at a slight manpower disadvantage, and is still possible to win.

However, TDM is another story. If there is  single inactive player on one side, it makes that side that much more likely to lose because an enemy player gets a free kill and free point. I recomend decreasing it to 30 seconds if it hasn't been already. On larger timers like 30 and 60 minutes, I guess it could be a little higher. Then again you have the pause button for that.

I'd say the opposite. In TDM having a player paused is not much of a problem (as long as they are actually paused and not getting repeatedly killed while being inactive). In CTF and CP the effect of a reduced number of players in a team is much greater and dramatically decreases the chances of winning.

But yeah - pause time reduction in team battles would be nice.

I see that pause time is perfect. Sometimes. a player has to connect the charger or do something quick or to even refresh the page which might take more than 30 seconds. 5 minutes is a perfect break.

I don't support reducing the pause time.  Sometimes things occur which require temporarily leaving the battle, and I feel 5mins is good.

If the pause time is reduced, players will be more likely to be removed from the battle and loose points accrued - not good when you have been playing a 60-min battle and need to pause at the 52-min point.

Restricting total pause time to 5 minutes for a 15 min battle; 10 minutes for a 30 minute one and so on would be great. The mults willl have to work harder. Pick this up soon devs!
