[Issue 6] Tanker: Part 2 (TWG)

"What do you mean that he didn't steal the tank?" Paul said, annoyed. "No. The tank was his, but he chose a username based on my name, and why he did that, I don't know," Prince John Stallinton replied. He was Paul's cousin and Victoria's elder son. 

 

He quickly checked camera recordings, only to find that someone had deactivated them minutes before the score hack. A rather serious man walked in. He was tall, and robust, yet rather slim. He was Paul's father, FBI Director and CEO of Tanker, and former US Army Marshal, Peter Stallinton. "I have reason to believe the hack was merely a distraction for a plan that endangers all of the United States. John, Stephen, better come with me. I need to find the hacker," Peter ordered. 

 

"I have the name - Thomas Bomberton," Paul replied, "and I'm coming to hunt him down." 

 

The others were shocked. "Wait - didn't I kill the two Bomberton brothers in 2027? Or was there another brother?" Peter exclaimed. "Let me check his location," Paul said. And saying this, he quickly exited the codes in his laptop, and instead went to a weird app. It opened up, showing numerous tools, including locating anyone. He opened that tool, and entered the name. But the result was that no person with that name even existed. 

 

"What?" Peter exclaimed. "How is it possible that he doesn't exist when we've found that name from his fingerprints?" Paul went out and opened another tool - checking any identity. He entered the name - and got a result - the identity. It was a lookalike to the man in the photo of the stadium, but the name in no way matched the one Paul searched. 

 

"Wait - Tanker Two? That's certainly a codename, but if the real name isn't Thomas Bomberton, what is it?" Paul said. He quickly closed the app entirely, and went to another. He searched in Tanker profiles for Prince.John - the name he found on the tank. Another name came up - Prince Robert I. 

 

"Wait, what?" John spoke up, shocked. "He's my brother, and the heir to the throne, so why would he do that?"

 

"If he's really doing this, then we need to locate him and stop him. If he's being mindjacked, then we need to stop that, get him into his senses and find the one who mindjacked him," Paul said. "And I think I may know which of the two scenarios is true," he continued.
