It's back again! A classic opportunity to show off your wit and humour returns to the Newspaper section after a brief hiatus. Read on to find out more...

All you have to do is submit a funny, short and snappy caption for one or both of the pictures below, by PMing @Caption_This like so:

Picture 1: "This is a brilliant caption!"

Picture 2: "This is also a prize-worthy caption!"

However, there's now an added twist - the pictures are themed in some way. This time, the theme is "follow the leader"...

The deadline for submissions is 23:59 UTC on the 30th of September.

Remember - PM your entries to @Caption_This for a chance to win. Good luck!

Can our caption be anything, and it is only the pictures which have a theme?

You have to caption the two supplied pictures, and it can be anything fitting the the theme.

question: before we write the caption, should we say which tank is saying it??

Picture 1: "This is a brilliant caption!"

Picture 2: "This is also a prize-worthy caption!"

Just wondering - the description just says 'the pictures are themed', but do the captions have to match the theme? Or can they be anything that 'goes' with the picture, with it being irrelevant to the caption that the pictures happen to follow a theme?

My exact same question. Apparently, it has to be related to the theme.

But then again, electrolux said it, not a moderator. So I can not be sure.

None of the tanks should be 'saying' anything - the idea if a caption is that it's a line for the whole picture, preferably witty and humorous in this case!

The latter. It's irrelevant to the caption that the pictures happen to follow a theme, so the captions don't have to adhere to it.

I did not know that and I have already submitted so can I send it again

Sure, you can re-enter as many times as you like prior to the deadline, as long as you make it clear which entry you want to be considered!

Will there be disqualification if we make the tanks say anything, or will we be less likely to win?
