Thanks ! for helping me Proofread this article and pointing out mistakes! :)

Welcome, tankers, to an article about Paint Modules, When to buy, What to buy, Which to buy. This article consists of advice about Paint modules, How to use them effectively etc. So let's begin shall we?

Which to Buy?

This is a question asked by many of us, which to buy?  There are a lot of Modules available in the Tanki Online market, and it is very difficult for us to choose which one to buy, especially the newcomers who don't even know what are and why to buy a module. Now these are the question's you should ask yourselves while buying Modules:

  •  Which turrets do you face while battling? Which one gives you a shock of fear whenever you come across it? This is the most vital question you should ask yourselves. If you are afraid of Shaft and Railgun and buy a module consisting of Firebird and Freeze, then there is no use in that module, is there any use? No. So, keep in mind this question, while buying any new protection module.

  • What maps do you play on, because the turrets are used according to maps and according to ranks. For example, you enter a Monte Carlo CTF and use a Freeze/Firebird/Isida (Isida can heal tho.) is there any use? No, because it's all about Shafts, Railguns, Vulcuns and all the other long range turrets which dominate there. But consider yourselves to be in other situation where you like playing Noise. Ok, Noise is a good map. Here if you play a battle other than XP/BP there is no use Of Railgun/Shaft, Why? This is because the total distance itself is less and there are lots of curves where a shaft/Railgun can't aim but still an experienced person can surely make good use of it, but the point that I am trying to express is that, here there are less number of Shafts and Railguns so there is no use of buying a Shaft/Railgun protection module, if you play mostly on Noise, while at the other hand Fire/Freeze/Isida module comes in handy, real handy, because of its abundance here.

  • Many of you may think that modules are important, but this is not so, it depends on the player's rank and his/her garage. If He/She already had a good paint before the update there is no need of one right? But if you are a sergeant and want to have a protection module buy it, but make sure you can save as many crystals as possible because modules are not as cheap as you think and every crystal is important. So, that is why I am saying that buy a protection module once you reach a Major or above because, this is where M2 modules unlock and give more protections rather than buying M0 at Sergeant.

Now here are the best modules respective of the type of protection they offer:

SINGLE

After the ranks of Warrant Officers there is no vital use for Single module because, it doesn't help you as you think because there are a lot of turret's in this game and having a protection from a single turret is not going to help you, but still let me just give some opinion's. According to me, the following modules are the Value for Money Modules:

1) Fox- S A: This module gives you protection from Firebird ALONE, you cannot expect this module to give you protection from Twins. I advise you to buy the M2 modification of this module because; the M2 stage give's your tank an hefty protection of 25%. I advise this module to people who play Polygon, because it is at Polygon where we see a lot of Firebirds especially when the Firewall kit unlocks. The Firewall kit is damn OP at its unlocking rank (2nd Lt.) and getting a 25% protection against it is a huge welcome. This sure is a great bargain and is going to survive with you till your way up to Major or so. I recommend this module for Polygon/Noise/ any other small maps where short range turrets are seen more.

2) Dolphin and Wolf - S A: Dolphin module gives you protection against Smoky while Wolf module gives you protection against twins. And both of these a Value for Money!! Because: 1st point is that both of these turrets are DAMN OP around this rank, and also that this one gives your tank 25% protection which is good right!? But my recommendation is to buy a Double Module.

DOUBLE

Ok now that we have discussed Single Modules; let us move on to Double Modules. Double Modules are those Modules which gives your tank a protection against two turret's unlike single protection module this gives you a protection against two turrets. Now according to me, I have ranked these Modules:

1) Panther D-C: This is the best available M2 Module that is available in the market right now because:  This module gives your tank a protection against both Smoky and Twins. And the fact is that both of these turrets are OP till the arrival of M3's. So this is the best module that is available for you to purchase and make sure to purchase these two if you play in medium maps only!

2) Ocelot D-C: This one is also one of the best modules because: It gives your tank a protection against Firebird and Freeze, 25% each. But you should always keep one thing in mind, that to buy this module ONLY if you play on small-medium maps because both of these turret's are found only in small-medium ranged maps. Firebird is also a bit powerful not so over powerful but still powerful in the hands of an experienced firer.

3) Eagle D-A: This is not a very important module; because this give's your tank protection against Shaft and Railgun which are found mostly on long ranged Maps ONLY. Now, buy this one if you play in very long ranged maps like Kunger, Monte-Carlo etc.

TRIPLE

1) Grizzly T-G: Ha-ha, many of you might be wondering what this thing is, don’t worry this is nothing but just a Trio Module; this gives your tank protection against Smoky, Firebird and Hammer. Why I have suggested this Module is obvious, because as you progress further above ranks you get to see more and more Smoky and Firebird. Both of these turrets at M2 level are beast. Also Hammer, It's also kind of a good turret but is a bit bad if you don't have any kind of experience on it. But 3 of these are the deadliest and that's why I suggested this.

2) Shark T-C: This consists of protections against Smoky, Isida and Thunder. I am suggesting this one because of the abundance of Thunder and Isida in the battlefield along with the OP Smoky. This one is an Awesome Module and gives your tank the required protection you need for the further M3 ranks. Also keep in mind that Isida and Thunder M3 unlock at Colonel itself due to kits and they are Damn OP at that time so it is essential for us to have a Module consisting of these 3 turrets.

I am stopping because there are a lot of good Modules available at the trio rank. Ok so now, Let me say one thing, this is just my opinion, you may vary from this. So it's all upto you.  :)

Now all the good camouflage paints are available at a low price (Non-Shinier ones) so buy them and give your tank a beautiful Look.  :) Best of luck and see you in the Battlefield.  :D

Y u no include griffon T-A? It is one of the top 3 modules I want.

Definitely a very nice , enjoyed it :)

What I didn't find interesting about griffon was that it had protection from shaft... It's not so much popular too, otherwise I would surely have written that. ;)

I would like to disagree with this quite nicely written article, on the single protection thing, if you have single protection from railgun, you are a god. the duo and tri modules with rail are nice as well, but if it has rail, it's gonna be worth your money. (IMO,anyway)

You don't have to, I just thought I'd point that out. Besides, I wouldn't want to waste your time when you could write another cool article on another topic.
