Getting to Know RIDDLER_8

 

If you are a regular to the forum, you definitely will have heard of . He is often seen in the Ideas and Suggestions section trying to get some, lets say, original ideas implemented. While the ideas may not always be the best, they have propelled Riddler into a state of relative fame on the forum. However, nobody really knows much about him. So, I decided to take it upon myself to interview him about his playing style in Tanki, along with his thoughts on the recent events in-game.

 

 

Hello, Riddler, it is nice to finally learn a little more about you. Lets start with your playing style while in the actual game. What is your favorite combo?

 

My two favourite combos in my Tanki Online garage is Isida and Mammoth. I have both Isida and Mammoth M3 50/50 = M4.

 

Oh wow, quite the interesting combination. What do you like about the combo of isida and mammoth to make you use it so much?

 

I use Isida and Mammoth so much for a particular reason. Isida is the only turret that can heal players in team battles, as well as kill enemies. Isida is good for earning the double amount of experience points faster as well. Mammoth is slow, but it is the strongest hull in Tanki Online. Mammoth can survive brutal waves of attacks in big battles.

 

So, with the slow speed of mammoth and short range of isida in mind, what position on a team do you tend to play?

 

I play defence with Isida. I mostly use Isida to heal team mates, and also use Isida to kill enemies. I always defend my team in team battles with Isida.

 

I'm sure that does not fare too well on larger maps. Does this mean you enjoy smaller maps more?

 

Small maps are best for me. My favourite maps are Arena, Island and then Noise.

 

That makes complete sense. If you could make a single improvement to both Isida and Mammoth, what would it be?

 

If I was a developer, I would make Mammoth twice as strong and Isida beams a longer range. Still keeping Isida as a short-range weapon.

 

Wow, that would be a very strong combo. What is your least favorite turret to play against?

 

My least favourite turrets are Railgun and Shaft.

 

Are you planning on buying any more M3 combos, or are you happy with your current M4 combo?

 

At the moment, I am micro-upgrading M3 Hornet and M3 Freeze. I am happy with my current garage items.

 

Ok, now it is time to move on to the recent paint seperation update. What are your thoughts on it? Do you like it or not?

 

Yes. I do like the paint separation update a lot. I am glad that the glitches and bugs were fixed. I am not happy that the Tanki Online developers haven't created some modules that has four protections from four turrets.

 

I completely agree with you. It is so nice to be able to see which enemies have protections against me without having to memorize all of the paints. So, if you could make a custom protection module, what three turrets would it defend against?

 

If I could choose to create a custom user made module, I would choose protections against Isida, Freeze and Firebird. I am an Isida player, so I would choose close-range protections in my custom module.

 

What do you think is the best looking paint?

 

In my opinion the best looking paint is Lumberjack.

 

What do you think of the Micro-upgrade sale?

 

The micro-upgrade sale is amazing. I only like sales of 50% discounts or higher.

 

Once again, I agree. I was able to put 16 MUs on my smoky M3, and they have made such a massive difference. Now for the big question. If you could add three features to the game, what would they be, and why?

 

If I could add 3 new features to Tanki Online, it would be an Acid Turret, Guided Rockets, and Panzer hull. The reason why I would add an Acid Turret is because it has a corrosive continuous damage like Firebird, but acidic. The acid would burn away 50% of a tanks health. The reason why I would introduce a Guided Rockets turret is because those rockets would follow a targeted enemy tank. This would be a long-range turret. The Panzer hull would be a hull that has a greater height the Dictator. The reason why I would add this type of hull is because it has the same strength as Titan and its height can give a 50% greater advantage for players to collect gold boxes.

 

We all have seen your suggestions for improvements to the game. Out of all of those, which one is your favorite?

 

I am not really sure which one is my favourite, but I would recommend the developers of Tanki Online to create an Acid Turret, Guided Rockets turret and the Panzer hull.

Yeah, on small maps his mammoth isida destroys everyone and everything  :lol:

And devs still refuse to nerf the range of the beam.

I suddenly remembered from M1s that today I was in a DM battle and this noob M0 Twins-Hunter popped up next to me. I had 34% protection against Twins and Viking 10/50 at that time. LOL, I let him shoot me and shoot me and shoot me and shoot me... Literally it took him like 2 minutes to bring me down to 1% health. Then I popped a Repair kit xD xaxa

I have one of the most ingenious ideas for new turrets and hulls for Tanki Online. The following turrets and hulls are all a perfect choice for any Tanki Online player.

 

Turrets:

 

Guided Rockets:

 

To begin with I suggest a turret that can fire guided rockets. This type of turret can fire two rockets in just 5 seconds. Like Twins, it is a double turret. This turret is called "Guided Rockets", and has the ability to destroy a fully upgraded M3 Mammoth by firing just one rocket. The "Guided Rockets" turret can be micro-upgraded in only 10 steps (10 micro-upgrades), each upgrading this turret by 1% for every upgrade.

 

Acid Turret:

 

Another cool type of turret that is missing from Tanki Online is the "Acid Turret". The "Acid Turret" fires a powerful blob of acid just like "Ricochet". Once an enemy tank gets hit by this type of turret, the enemies health is reduced by half (50%). The acid continues to eat and consume the remaining health of the enemy even after the shooting stops, just like the "Firebird" turret. The "Acid Turret" can also be micro-upgraded in only 10 steps (10 micro-upgrades), each upgrading this turret by 1% for every upgrade.

 

Isida Alien:

 

The "Isida Alien" is another type of Isida. The "Isida Alien" is a futuristic type of Isida, just like the current Isida, but it has a more powerful beam. Its beam can deal twice more damage than the regular fully micro-upgraded M3 Isida. The same goes for healing. It can repair twice the normal amount of health for team mates in team battles. The "Isida Alien" turret has a longer range too. It can destroy and heal tanks within the medium range distance.

 

Hulls:

 

Speedy Gonzales:

 

This type of hull has a very strange name but it is faster than "Wasp" and has a strength of similarity of "Hunter". The "Speedy Gonzales" hull is a perfect choice for players that do a lot of gold box hunting.

 

Panzer:

 

This type of hull called "Panzer" is a hull that has the same speed as "Dictator" but has a taller ramp so that players can get a higher vantage point when shooting. Panzer also makes it easier for players to climb on top of other tanks when catching gold boxes. It is another perfect choice for players to go and hunt gold boxes using this hull.

 

Bulldozer:

 

This type of hull is overall bigger than "Mammoth". It has a more powerful engine so that it can go a bit faster than "Mammoth" and has the ability to push away any hull including Mammoth. A good choice for gold box hunters too. This type of hull is twice as strong as "Mammoth" so that players can remain alive when they want to hunt gold boxes.

 

All those new types of hulls and turrets that I have in mind can also be earned in XT Missions too. For Generalissimos only, they can get a rare mission that involves destroying a certain amount of enemy tanks of earning a certain amount of experience (XP) to earn those XT hulls and turrets. The XT hulls and turrets are to be kept for ever once the player earns it.

 

Price:

 

I am not sure how expensive the price would be for players to buy these new types of hulls and turrets.

 

Note: All the above suggestions for those new turrets and hulls does not require players to buy "Pro Battle Passes" or "Premium Accounts". They can all be purchased in normal battles.

Tanki Online definitely needs more paints. These paints have a symbol of many of the world’s countries. The protection level for all of these paints starts from 1% to 50% protection from all turrets and mines. All of the flag paints don’t include any micro upgrades. Micro upgrades are not needed, because those paints give players a certain amount of protection from all turrets and mines. So when players buy these paints from the Tanki Online shop, the paints are 100% complete. No need to micro upgrade.

 

Please note that all the paints have a difference of +1% from each other so that it keeps the game play of Tanki Online perfectly balanced.

 

These paints does not require Pro Battle Passes or Premium Accounts. They are available in standard accounts.

 

Albania

 

This flag paint gives an introductory protection of only 1% from all turrets and mines.
