GOLD BOX AND ITS MOMMY

A DIALOGUE

 

 

[This is a story about a new born Gold Box and its Mommy. Actually, Gold Box doesn't have a mommy. The care taker of the system, who designs the gold box, connects a parachute to it, drops it in a particular drop zone, is considered as Mommy, by the Gold Box. This is how the dialogue starts.]

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gold Box                    Mommy

 

 

 

 

Gold Box: (After its birth) Mommy, Mommy!

 

Mommy : (with love), Oh my cute baby!

                (Designing the 1k cry tag), You look sooo cute!

 

Gold Box: Where am I going, mommy?

 

Mommy : You are gonna be dropped in a battle where all tankers will be coming together, fight and try their best to catch you.

 

  Gold Box  : But why? Why do they want to catch me?

 

Mommy : It is just because you are cute, popular and valuable. You are a gem of Tanki Online and all tankers!

 

Gold Box: But mommy, do I have the freedom to select whom will I be caught by?

 

Mommy : No dear, You will be dropped in a particular Drop Zone where the most skillful and luckiest tanker will catch you. You are rare and precious. 

 

Gold Box: But how will the tankers come to know that I will be coming? If I come down suddenly, won't it be injustice for tankers who're away from me?

 

Mommy  : No dear, a siren will be there to announce that you will be coming down soon. A crystal shaped drop zone will be there in a random place of a map. So, it won't be an injustice for tankers.

 

Gold Box: How will I drop? Is there any specific time for me to drop down?

 

Mommy : Child, my work is to create gold boxes and present them. It is the responsibility of the server to drop you. You can be dropped anytime, anywhere. 

 

 

(Many days passed. Gold Box has views about tankers)

 

 

Gold Box: MOMMY! THESE TANKERS ARE A CHEAT! I feel pity about honest players. Out of 10, 5 people lag during I drop. 4 people push each other and trouble other tankers. One out of them is a "HACKER". Who just flies, comes outta nowhere and catches me. This is wrong.

 

Mommy : Calm down dear, devs are working on it. They have minimized lags and hacks. It won't be much of a problem.

 

Gold Box: Not only that, some tankers spread fake information about me. They post battle links and say, I will be dropped soon. Even they know that I will be dropped randomly. This is wrong Mommy!

 

  Mommy   : Can't help it child! Some tankers are of such foolish personality. A wise tanker will eagerly wait for you to drop.

 

Gold Box: 1 thing is with me, that my drop chances are not in control of tankers. Hufff!! (Relief)

 

Mommy : (With disappointment, knowing the truth), Hmm....

 

 

 

(Days passed. Tanki Released the Update of 6th Supply...THE GOLD BOX)

 

 

 

Gold Box: WHAT? NOW TANKERS HAVE CONTROL ON MY DROP???

 

Mommy : Yes, now they can drop you if they have your supply and if supplies are ON in the battle.

 

Gold Box: Nice, but not nice.

 

 

 

(A few days after the update),

 

 

 

Gold Box: The situation is worse from the last time. People now post links that they will drop me, 90% of them, being trolls. I wish all things to be as old as they were. Tankers used to eagerly wait for me in battles. Now, they beg other people, "DROP GOLD PLZ", "WHERE IS GOLD?", etc.

 

Mommy : Child, as I said. Now, anyone can drop you. Siren remains the same.

 

Gold Box: Wow. Fun for all now. Entertainment everywhere.

 

Mommy : Yes, now tankers will have more fun. And I think, this is your job. You were invented, just to increase the fun and excitement while playing this game. Tankers love this game because of you, child. You are precious for the game. I bet, the day you leave this game, 75% of the Tanki population will leave the game. That's how your presence matters for all. Everyone loves you.

 

Gold Box: I think you are right, Mommy. It is wrong on my part to think negatively about the people who love me soo much. Even I love all tankers. I will have fun in dropping in battles and seeing them fight and catch me.

 

 

(This is how the dialogue ends. This dialogue indirectly conveys the value of gold box and the need to avoid spamming trolls about gold boxes. It is a need to use the new update in the right way, and not the wrong way.)
