Upfall || Man of Destruction

Alright, before we begin what promises to be an interesting story (maybe) I want to get a few things out of the way:

1. This will be my only writing for a while. That's right -- If you came here for my comedic style, prepare for it to be replaced with a more serious tone with themes of justice, revenge, and life/death. However I will be still doing the "Update Overview" series, as that requires little time since it publishes very rarely.

2. I'll string this all into a very long story (50-100 pages) and turn it into a book. I will also post all of this in my Creativity Section as a book so if you want to read everything without hopping topics please visit my creativity section. (Use the search function k you lazy nugs)

3. I will try to publish daily.

4. This might get very gruesome. We will be dealing with scary content that might not be PG -- so if you are young please be mindful this may not be for you!

 

California, October 12th, 3004, 10 AM PDT

 

"I've been teaching for more than 250 years here. Life is repetitive, teach the same thing today, every class that comes in these doors. Every year, teaching as a 9th grade history teacher. I am sad to announce... my resignation.

 

From immortality."

 

This was met with an uproar. "You.. you're applying for mortality??" "This can't be! You're my favorite teacher here!"

 

The teacher replied, "Perhaps you may do the same thing when you are old. I have been on the earth for 300 years... I have left the mark I wanted to leave. Hopefully my replacement is young, full of hope... The way you should be."

 

With a grim look of acceptance, Ryan Johnson asked, "When will you find a replacement?"

 

"Tomorrow. The day . . . that I go on a journey."

 

California, 5 PM PDT

 

"Are you ready for mortality? How much more time do you need?"

 

"I'm prepared. . ."

 

"You are aware of the pain of the process?"

 

"I hope not to feel it for too long. Besides, the pain pf living longer than you should is far worse."

 

"Firing on the count of 3... 3, 2, 1 --"

 

The teacher, Mr. Paul, stabbed the doctor, and used him as a shield from the ray. The doctor's face became disfigured, and soon after his insides were melting. Mr. Paul left the room alive, putting on the doctor's clothes and morphing his face into that of the late doctor. The doctor's corpse was beyond recognition, so it was assumed as a normal mortality conversion.

 

Soon after, news that a well-known doctor who discovered immortality had quit the hospital -- the one he worked in for 250 years.

By the way Google says October 12th is a Friday. Of course school might have changed by then and maybe the calendar too but for now next issue we will probably give Ryan a break.
